Something not getting talked about enough is the simplicity of Matt’s driver swing. So simple, so athletic, such a beautiful ball flight. No unnecessary wrist or elbow flexing, no lower body manipulation. Just amazing to watch.

No disrespect to Matt, I think he would agree, but it’s not like it was pure talent. It’s like 15% talent for getting the ball that distance and 85% luck, for a little ball to roll into that little hole, filmed nonetheless. If it’s more talent than we would see hole in 1’s happen in every tournament on the PGA. It’s just not the case.
The first time I encountered this group, I saw some skinny kid hitting range balls into the night sky. I then watched him and his friends hitting ping pong balls over his house. There is an insane amount of luck involved. You can hit a perfectly executed shot and there is still a ton of luck that goes into the ball going in the hole.

Absolutely incredible. Not one, not two, but THREE HOLE IN ONES caught on camera. Pre - back problems, Matt had one of the smoothest and prettiest golf swings I've ever seen. Having back problems myself from sports and lifting, the struggles you have to deal with physically and mentally are very challenging. Especially being an athlete with a competitive drive. Now can we get one on a Par 5? All down hill, down wind, big bounce off the cart path.. maybe? haha Congratulations Matt, Truly remarkable.

A week or two ago I saw a lot of negative comments about Matt here on CZcams. Matt even replied to one taking it on the chin. It's so great to see all the support now. The man is an incredible golfer and an inspiration for everyone who has struggled with sporting injuries. He consistently has such a great attitude in every video too and is genuinely a joy to watch. I can see how folks a while back were eye rolling him, but now he and Steve are such great comedic personalities in the group. After the back problems arose, this one has to be a bit sweeter and emotional, going from not thinking you can ever play again to cranking a 360 ace. Cheers!
The odds of hitting a hole in one on a par for are around 6 million to one. He has now done it twice, on camera. Simply incredible, and then adding a third hole in one on one of the most difficult par 3’s out there. WOW!!! Congratulations young man!

@@cpg1966 if you watch the pin as it’s rolling toward the hole the pin is moving back and forth in the wind. But after the ball disappears you see the pin stop moving due to the ball being in the hole. I believe it is real

I hav to agree with what you said brother, I’m 53 and hav been playing golf and sports my whole life and hav never witnessed anything like what this young man has done in the last year and a half or so…2 aces on par 4s and 1 on a par 3……I’ve yet to hav one, been playing steady for about 10 yrs and off/on for about 25…..this brought excitement to my day hahaha.

Bro in the entire history of golf (not just CZcams), if you were to put together a top 10 list of the greatest shots ever, Matt would very likely have two of the top 10 shots. Having TWO par 4 hole in ones is just astonishing.

The fact that both of hole-in-ones were on camera is incredible. The fact that this one went in off a cart-path / rock bounce is the stuff of legends. I bet if you fed the raw footage through AI to clean it up and played it back in slow motion you could just see the moment it dropped in (if you weren't able to see it already).

Pre - back problems, Matt had one of the smoothest and prettiest golf swings I've ever seen.
Having back problems myself from sports and lifting, the struggles you have to deal with physically and mentally are very challenging. Especially being an athlete with a competitive drive.

A week or two ago I saw a lot of negative comments about Matt here on CZcams. Matt even replied to one taking it on the chin. It's so great to see all the support now. The man is an incredible golfer and an inspiration for everyone who has struggled with sporting injuries. He consistently has such a great attitude in every video too and is genuinely a joy to watch. It felt he was trying too hard to stand out and create a persona that wasn’t true to his nature. Now that he’s gained wisdom and maturity he n both life and being a CZcams celebrity, and the chemistry he’s developed with this group, his personality and antics are clicking well. I can see how folks a while back were eye rolling him, but now he and Steve are such great comedic personalities in the group.
After the back problems arose, this one has to be a bit sweeter and emotional, going from not thinking you can ever play again to cranking a 360 ace. Cheers!

@@cpg1966 if you watch the pin as it’s rolling toward the hole the pin is moving back and forth in the wind. But after the ball disappears you see the pin stop moving due to the ball being in the hole. I believe it is real

I hav to agree with what you said brother, I’m 53 and hav been playing golf and sports my whole life and hav never witnessed anything like what this young man has done in the last year and a half or so…2 aces on par 4s and 1 on a par 3……I’ve yet to hav one, been playing steady for about 10 yrs and off/on for about 25…..this brought excitement to my day hahaha.
