The crazy part about the boyfriend simulator game is that it didn’t actually answer the Maine capital question correctly….the capital of Maine is Augusta…..🤨😑
And Lake Champlain isn't a city, it's a lake on the border of Vermont and New York (and a little bit in Quebec) almost 180 miles from Augusta. Burlington is by Lake Champlain, so it would have been closer if Danny had asked about the capital of Vermont instead of Maine.

Hey Danny, better help is not good. I’m not blaming you but the therapists on the app will often take the money and ghost you, be unprofessional, share your personal convos and data, be shady af and not actually be licensed. There’s been a lot of reports of therapists being rude/discriminatory and downplaying peoples trauma.

Only Danny would sit, read, & discuss a game description (that was made by the developers of said game) that admits to the main engine of the game not functioning correctly at times & then proceed to download the game.
Just a warning about betterhelp: I asked for a trauma therapist (I've since read that that's not necessarily something they help with, even if you can check a box for it) and when I described my issue, the first thing she asked was something along the lines of, "Are you sure it's that big of a deal" and proceeded to send me CBT worksheets.
Of course there's bad therapists outside of betterhelp, but I've seen plenty growing up, and they've never victim blamed me lol. Just look out for yourselves, and know therapists aren't always right.

They are without the careful legal restrictions of an actual registered therapist and can therefore share your information (not bound by medical privacy). They also don't have professional trauma therapists despite pretending that they do. It's really dark. I hope Danny sees these comments and reconsiders this sponsorship, so that he doesn't encourage young, unaware, or otherwise vulnerable fans to use this sketchy app.

Danny, in Europe at least, the "second floor" is called the first floor. And the "first floor" for you, is called the "ground floor". Think of it as the "first floor up" kinda logic. Don't know where this game was made from, but im sure many countries around the world also follow this logic.

This is a common thing in several Asian countries as well. So this app, and probably every other one Danny tries here, were likely produced by either asian and/or European companies that make their livings pumping out as many cheaply made apps as possible, which they then stuff so full of advertisements they often become almost entirely unplayable unless you pay to remove them. Sometimes you can guess what country the game was made in just by the specific grammatical errors made in English, if you have an idea of how their native grammatical structures work.

My wife tried better help. It’s not better. Nor is it helpful. Her “therapist” kept telling her she was “doing great” or “making amazing progress” but literally didn’t suggest anything helpful. This was her 3rd or 4th “therapist” that she’d tried. The one before that told her she’d never be happy at work and will never find a job she enjoys. It’s not a useful service

That isn't the service's fault. Finding the right therapist is hard and I hope that your wife can find an appropriate one.
I've used it before and none of the therapists I tried were helpful, one in particular was definitely not qualified to be treating my specific issues, she was technically an "art therapist" or something like that. This company also does not treat its therapists well, Mickey Atkins did a video going very in depth on all Betterhelp's issues and I highly recommend watching it, she explains everything super well and is a therapist herself too so she has a lot of valuable perspectives on why and how this service is harmful

For anyone wondering, the main floor/second floor thing is a Spanish thing, in many Spanish speaking countries they say la planta baja to mean the main floor(first floor) and say el primer piso to mean the second floor, this was probably just translated from Spanish to English and the devs just didn’t know in English things were different.
Not just a Spanish speaking thing, many countries have it outside US... I am from Denmark and we also have main floor and first floor :)

It's very rare for companies to be bullied out of existence these days because of how quickly people forget the issue. At most, they'll change their name, but even that is becoming old practice.
I'm so glad that people in this comment section brought the bad part of betterhelp to light. I was considering it since i seen it in another video and my transportation options are limited. Y'all saved me some $$ 😭
I heard therapy and all I could think was don’t be betterhelp don’t be betterhelp but alas. I see other comments about people’s experiences but from my own time with them, I got scammed twice. What I mean by that is my counselor literally ghosting me and betterhelp not switching me to a new one and also continuing to charge me an obscene amount of money weekly for talking to … no one. I hope that internet personalities start to take these comments and negative experiences with Betterhelp seriously because I know that being mentally ill sucks, but being scammed while also mentally ill is criminal in my mind. Hope that Danny can maybe hear this feedback ❤️

Whenever I see other yotubers sponsored by better help, the comments don't often respond like this. I find it interesting, and it's actually a good thing this comment section is calling it out! This means Danny has facilitated a place where people are free to say their concerns and opinions.
It makes me wonder if other sponsored CZcamsrs DO get comments like this, but they delete them all.

i was really shocked looking at these comments because it seems like every youtuber nowadays is sponsored by better help and no one's said anything. i just think about the fact that every single episode of markipliers podcast seems to be sponsored by betterhelp

If you wanted to program intentional Grammer/spelling mistakes you could use a random number generator to pick a word out of the message, and then run a function to either add extra letters, remove letters, or exchange a correct letter to a different one. It would be pretty simple to add if someone intentionally wanted to

Ground/main floor and First floor (1st and 2nd)
I guess the logic is like, it's the same level as the ground and then it's the first floor above the ground.
And then it makes more sense if you bring in B1, B2 etc. underneath the ground floor.
So ground is essentially 0
Then B1, B2 etc is -1 and -2 and 1 and 2 are 1 and 2

I have played virtual boyfriend simulator after looking at this video and I can tell you that it's only gone downhill. The AI is terrible and only seems to want to talk about your birthday . You tell him it's not your birthday, he says it's his birthday and then keeps talking about his birthday no matter what you send.
I actually got offered a job as a "chat moderator", but on the interview I found out I would actually be chatting with strangers, pretending to be various virtual girls, asking them to pay so that we could chat more :P

I feel like Danny didn't linger on the creepiness of that virtual boyfriend app enough - which is fair enough since it's just meant to be a funny video, but... If that was a real person, which it has to have been because theres no reason for an AI to misspell a made up word it was copying from you, then that means that the responsibility of chatting to an audience of little girls lies in the hands of a likely unethical business. If a little kid thinks she's talking to a fake boyfriend in a game, it would be so easy to just tell her "You're cute, where do you live?" or ask for private details. Especially with how willing the "AI" was to say some "vulgarity". In fact in that very sentence it mistyped again putting that random ) in the middle of it.
There was even instances of the virtual boyfriend saying things like "I should move closer to you" and that kind of thing, which could easily bait a naive child into saying where they live. Seems weird to me! Seems suspicious and dubious!
I have no answer to the misspelling, but the app logging everything you tell it is probably true.
