Scored twice but went 1-0 down then scored 2 worldies and couldn’t do anything else. Yeh that’s called being dominated. They got lucky that isak and Gordon put the shootin boots on

Actually agree with Lewis to certain points and the fact you guys can’t compute what he’s saying just shows you’re probs tryna wind him up. But the we’re in the game, 2-1 up until around the 70th minute is being in the game, and it took a superstar off the bench to take the game. Newcastle don’t have the capability of keeping up with the subs that Manchester City can do so yea that changed the game which is what Lewis is saying. What I don’t agree with is that Newcastle didn’t get dominated, because Manchester City demolished them.

Newcastle were 20 mins away from winning the game, city only won cause of their depth. To say Newcastle got battered cause they sat bsck defending against the best team in the world is mad. Newcastle are missing alot of players aswell.

Just because it was Man City the best team in the world, doesn’t mean they didn’t get battered. There’s an explanation and an understand for why because Man City are so good but it still means they got battered.
They did the same against Liverpool. Liverpool had the highest xG ever accumulated in one game. He said they didn't get Battered because the score was 3:2(the penalty didn't count according to him). You can get battered and still score goals on the counter. It's about how the game went for 90 minutes.
City had 2-3 players they could possibly bring on to maybe make a difference they brought 2 on, we don’t have amazing depth like people say we’ve got a small club compared to a lot of people it’s probably one of the smallest in the league

If there was a team in the league this season that had had 24 players injured, with 11 out currently and had lost around 900 days to injuries but that team was still in the top half you'd say that team had done well

Having a lack of depth to bring on late in the game is not a free pass for the awful form Newcastle have had recently losing to teams like Luton, Forest, Everton and Spurs. Particularly when Lewis has consistently claimed that most of their players rank among the best in their position in the league (the majority of which have been fit this season)

I do agree with the opinion that Newcastle were in the game. Until the substitutions it was feeling like it would be another game where City dominates possession, has a lot of shots, but no end product. But then Kevin came on and reminded everyone why he is one of the best midfielders in the world.

The biased against Newcastle is painful! The game is played based on the scoreline and at 2-1 up against city no team in the world is going to be going at them. If it was 2-1 city at half time Newcastle would need to have more possession and more chances so would have to play differently. Clearly city deserved to win the game but Newcastle had a period in the first half where city were all over the place at the back and that was due to Newcastle pressing them. They were too tired to do this in the second half and needed some attacking subs. KDB made the difference as before he came on It didn’t look like city would break them down! It was a good game and both teams could have scored more. Newcastle had a goal ruled offside and isak missed a 1 on 1 with the keeper at 2-1. City deserved to win but it wasn’t like Liverpool game the week before. Far from it !

I’m a Newcastle fan and I don’t agree with Lewis in the fact we dominated we defended well at times but I do think that the fact they could bring on the best midfielder in the world after 70 minutes when we look knackered after 60 mins every game (not an excuse) made a big difference. I think finishing top 4 last season made some fans become a bit stupid and unreasonable
Also we can’t sign anyone because the bigger clubs like City and Arsenal made such a big deal about us becoming the richest team in the world and they got scared so now everything is getting stricter.

When you look at the stats between both half, the only difference is that city stoped giving newcastle cheep possession, both goals came from city giving the ball away big boot and then score, newcastle were getting dominated and relied on being quick on the turn over of possession, newcastle did not have control at all and in the second half those mistakes slowed down and we won, you can dominate a team and loose facts are facts and yeah your team is weeker still domination
