Regarding why the pin is plastic, Felix replied to that on Mr. Puzzle's video (he had the same question). Here is what Felix said: "The pin was originally steel, but one hard twist with the steel pin made the steel dent the edges of the brass maze, expanding the brass enough to cause the central piece to stick."
I thought it'd be something like that plus plastic is naturally smoother and wouldn't need lubing all the time for an easy movement.
Liking and Commenting to get this higher up in the comments (I think that's how it work).
Chris, I have a puzzle for you. My car keys are somewhere in my house....
1. Last pair of pants you were wearing
2. In or under your couch
3. Kids have them
4. Threw them away on accident
5. Underneath your mail or something on the counter
6. Beside wherever you took your pants off
7. Black hole
It's usually in #7.
M between your car door and the seat
I got a good solution! I ate them.
Now the only puzzle now..
Is getting them out of my stomach.
@@ZenZooZoo if it's number 7 why do you keep putting the keys up your butt in the first place? :/
@@ZenZooZoo #4 is literally my greatest fear.
The patience Chris has is actually admirable.
I'd call it determination.
Or put another way his patience comes from his determination.
Especially his patience with his neighbors...
He is a puzzle and sleight of hand enthusiast. He HAS to be patient!
It would be out of the window by now!!!!!
I love how the more time-consuming the puzzle is, the more aggressive his “hot dang” is lol.
I’m still waiting for one where he ends up flipping the desk. 😂
Chris in every video: "Did that break? I think I might have broken it"
The intro looks like a very branded perfume advertisement.
Fact
Or an advert for a blended bourbon
Red would purchase
The sound of the brass hitting the brass is insanely satisfying, for some reason. 😅
Absolute sucker for those slick intros!
Can you imagine Ramsey in the 20's as The King of Safecrackers?
that 'bridge' explaination at the end was a real lightbulb moment! such a simple but complex puzzle, i love it!
Does CZcams give an intro award? easily best intros on CZcams
Sup, Chris. When we're gonna get another Kickstarter decks video? Love your channel, bro
Well done!
One of a few videos I can watch! 😁
Whoahhh shadeeeee much?
This was such a pleasing video to watch. The harder and more rewarding a puzzle is the more it makes me feel amazing when you solve it! Well done with this one Chris and well done Felix Ure for that intricate puzzle.
Also love that the note explicitly tells Chris not to excessively spin it, because you know he would!
"I need to get it in, but not in so much in that it's all the way in." - Chris Ramsay
I imagine the puzzle makers watching these videos and cheering when Chris growls in frustration, because that means they got it right.
So an hour & fifteen minutes into solving the puzzle & Chris says "I Think I'm Getting Somewhere". To funny..... 😂😂👍👍
*Not gonna lie*
That intro was so High Quality I thought I was watching an Movie Opening Sequence
Eating M&m's while watching this....all I can hear are clicks 💁🏻♀️🤣🥰
I could make a beat with just all of the click moves Chris keeps doing 😂🤣
I love your vids, their always so tranquil and refreshing to watch at any point of the day.
Love your content !Quite the insane puzzle. Took you a good while. Good watching! Thanks man!
Having seen Mr Puzzle do this two weeks ago I'm just sitting talking to my phone telling him he's so close yet so far! But I love how you both have similar thought processes on solving puzzles.
Also loved the intro, dope as always.
I can never get tired of your intros, man. They’re soo cool!
Phenomenal!!! Rivals the lotus puzzle in creativity and beauty!
Love the illustration and drawings! Helps understand what your thinking!
I really love the way you have evolved Chris...I've been here since the beginning...awesome man
Great use of the gaming chips from brass! I would not have thought about it, but they do look great as decoration here!
All your videos are so clean and sharp, been here for a long time and will stick around for as long as you are going man. Great work!
Hey Chris! I'm a huge fan of the puzzle videos you make. I was always super impatient as a kid and it was when I was young when I had my first experiences with these puzzles so I didn't enjoy them. Now that could not be further from the truth. To be honest, my life is falling apart. And I struggle with PTSD and chronic depression and I want you to know that no matter how hard my life gets watching you solve puzzles makes me feel like I am not alone. I really wish I could afford to start getting a collection of them going but I'm unemployed and I'm living in an abandoned building that just so unbelievably lucky for me still has power and a working toilet so I don't feel like Im totally alone and down and out. Thank you for everything you do!
I've just gotta say I came across your videos on fb and love the puzzles and I actually went and bought 2 hanayama level 5's ,the equa and labyrinth to start out with and man it teaches some patience and I look forward to seeing more
Nice intro and great puzzle solve! Just LOVE the nice solid brass puzzles, they look so sleek and stylish! And it's great watching you solve them! Actually I love all your solves! I know you probably don't read most of these but really really really interested in hearing more about Old Sins! Are you ever going to do more or not! If not that's okay but would LOVE to know one way or another! Thanks again for your time and effort and see you next week!
I will never understand how anyone could skip the intros. Works of art, every one of them.
Exactly what I love about a puzzle, this is a beauty!
And I honestly know that you are grateful, you seem to me the kind of person to not take anything for granted..
Stay safe and sane in this madness... I know I'm scared out of my mind but that doesn't help..
But I forgot about it for a few minutes while watching in suspense and that to me is worth a million right now..
Thank You so much..
Edit, I do not drink much but I do love me a really good Whiskey .. 👌
I love your intros, they are always great and some of my favorites in all of youtube land.
Thanks for that. I wish you and your family all the best
I must say you are extremely creative with your openings, go you.... ♥️♥️♥️
Beautiful mechanics - looks like a safecracker exercise
Beautiful craftsmanship
honestly do a video on how that you stay so chill.. not only with puzzle's but with everything jeezes i could learn a thing or two
The dedication is amazing
Pulling out has never been harder.
Just hand her a towel, and say u did.
You made the other whiskey commercials look like child's play. This was absolutley beautiful. The intro totally rocked and the time it took solve the puzzle made me feel like I was a bit tipsy.
Wonderful Chris. Thank you again for being mind blowing.
Another great video! Love the poker chips around the mat. A great touch. 👍
This one took me FOREVER to solve but I finally solved it tonight! My new favorite puzzle!
Loved this! What a great intro too! Great stuff as always Chris :)
Another awesome video Chris ty
Reminds me of the revomaze. I like the revomaze more tho, that one is so cool and fun to solve. I wish I could do one of the hard revomazes
I love your funny/cool caricature puzzler personality
If you hadn’t mentioned the external saw noise, the record scratching tracks would have been less obvious as a cover up. Great editing as I never heard a saw cutting at any time. I guess you are also a great editing magician!
The intros have just been above and beyond expectations lately. Exceptional work.
Awesome intro, as always Chris!
Just thinking, as satisfying as it is to watch your vids solving puzzles (your better than Xanax my friend), I can only imagine the child-like joy the creators of all these puzzles gets from watching you trying to solve their creations!
I love watching your intros man always so creative!
Very fun. I really liked this on. And it's nice looking.
Your introductions are always fire man, such good production
Brilliant puzzle.
Hope u finish The Room brotha.. love ur videos very well done. Stay safe
That intro with the swamp blues in the background, just amazing
He's smart he's really easy on the eyes...
I love watching these vids...so relaxing
00:53 All of the above Mr. Ramsey. All of the above. Love your videos man, keep doing what you do!
me too.
Nice work and those chips are really beautiful!
19:13 hahahah ! a scientific way to start to explain the inner mechanic of a puzzle . loving it hahah
Seriously love your intros man. Keep it up!
Why does Chris always have such amazing openings? This was especially good because it was right up my alley with the whiskey and poker.
Because he really cares about making quality videos.
Really cool puzzle this one. Solved it myself. Fun + great progression - and a few wonderful 'aha' moments.
Yes it made sense to me! Same concept as picking a lock(tumblers pretty much)
The way I like to keep entertained during crisis mode. Super calming man thanks for the top notch content!
love you videos and the intros are always the best!!!
This intro was absolutely awesome!!!! Keep up the awesome work
Nailed it yet again Chris!
Love the intro Chris! Any chance you can tackle Wil Strijbos' egg or sweta cross? I think you'd enjoy those.
I love the editing in your videos. Always 🔥videos bro
Sick video Chris, just wondering where you got that set of chips and if I'd be able to get my hands on some like them. Cheers for all the good content mate its really sick.
I have blind shared this already, but watching it now I tell how these videos relax me. ~ "Knowing you will solve this makes ME HAPPY!!!!" - Good stuff... (LOVE) Philosophical and your patience is soothing.
Great intro Chris! Really well done!
Now that's what you call a Cinematic! Always try to bring this up! 😊
100% more entertaining then it has a right to be. You are the best Mr. Ramsay.
Coolest intro ever! I just love watching your videos. Puzzle on man, puzzle on.
Damn soo professional. Crazy that you film and edit the intros on your own. Soo good!
Fascinating that a flask can be this intricate
Music for this opening was on point!
I really enjoy watching you work on, and solve the puzzles. I’d throw them out of the window within a few seconds! 😀
Gotta say, that intro was amazing. Super cinematic!
your sharpie explanation @ 6 minutes +/- made perfect sense
The production of the starts have gone through the roof in last few months, thank you ,its appreciated ;)
Took me 8 hours over 3 days to solve this .. I had the two cylinders out after only a couple of hours and didn’t realise for a stupid amount of time that even though you can’t feel the “button” actually move anything it captures the pin .. absolutely worth every penny and beautifully made
Very cool puzzle.
Love your content!!!!
nicely machined puzzle. it looks reslly good. the tightrope is too. :D
Chris, good whisky is Basil Hayden's Dark Rye. And Jameson Black Barrel. They goooooooooood stuff
The maze part of this puzzle is in essence what a revomaze is but a revomaze is much more complex with devious traps. All revomaze solvers felt your pain every time we heard that click it is the most frustrating noise on earth when you are totaly focused on following a maze in your mind. Great video.
Chris, I know you said you look at the comments from your latest videoes, and this one was awesome as usual. I found several of Bicycle's collector decks. I love these these things, they feel right, move like water, and I have been practicing your techniques with them. I was wondering if you could review a few of them, mainly the Aurora, and Alchemy II decks.
Wo Chris! Ton intro est sick! Que dire du reste du vidéo! Props a l'équipe!
Your intros are true frkn ART!!!
Always a good experience ..... Lot of love from India.... God bless you
This was the puzzle for the tv production. And loved the hat toss.
The intro shot with you in the hat... Damn!! 💚
lol, love the Paddington bear hat at the end.
Kept waiting for it to happen...it didn't, but I was looking to use the smaller pin as a tool. Cool idea for designer, if he used the smaller pin as a tool against the larger pin (i.e. drop it back in). Not sure if it even possible. Respect to the vids.
Loving the broll clips Christ!!!
As I love watching these videos I'm considering starting a puzzle collection of my own Chris do you have any suggestions on where I should begin
