This was very helpful - thank you both. Just a pointer - I did everything Yash said with no success. Watched again and again. Finally, I noticed at 11:18 that he modifies the punctuation on the "empty" strand but doesn't explain it. It could save people lots of time to spell that out a little better. Thanks again!
Thanks Solitairel, a huge help, I actually found your comment before watching the video so I was on the lookout for it. For new people coming here with the same sort of issue, instead of doing the copy & paste at this step, you can type empty() and in between the brackets, switch back to dynamic content and select the option in your form that relates to the attachments and it will fill correctly without any additional editing.

I had to create two different arrays for Teams and Outlook. One with "content" property for Teams, one with "ContentBytes" property for Outlook.

thank you so much, both of you, it works like a charm, im trying to automate it ticket creation in our organisation, and users needed to be able to add screenprints as attachments, i tried following an online guide but the screenprints wouldn't come through, this worked immediately.

Thank you for this, do you know how to get it to go into a Document Library as an attachment instead of via email? I'd like to pull in the metadata as well. So if they have an attachment with say "department" then it pulls in department metadata into a Document Library and the attachment shows up as a file in the Document Library.
@Jon - how do you attach the same form responses as an attachment (pdf) to the form response via Power Automate ?

I have now implemented this but have fallen foul of what to do if there are zero attachments - the condition statment just hangs (i'm sure this is pilot error but any hep would be appreciated)
if im doing an approval flow with multiple approvals, do i need to do a condition action after each approval which checks whether the submission has an attachment?

You make this look easy. When I try, however, to add an attachment field to a form, the "upload file" option is greyed. Why?? The rest of the video doesn't help unless I can resolve that!
How to put restriction on date field for restricting past dates?
When creating a form to request something on a selected date, it would be useful if the date could be restricted so that only a present and future date can be selected.

Is it the same steps if I want to render the forms answers and attachments to a Teams Channel?
If I have two questions that could have attachments, do I have to repeat this process for each question or can you do both in one step?
I have the Flow to move into an Approvals flow and I"m not able to open the Attachments from the Approval email -- any ideas on how this could be done? Even when I choose the Email action it does not allow me to open the attachments.

Hi guys...This video got me through my first Power Automate. Well, almost. I keep getting an error 404: File not found when running my flow with an attachment. And yet, the output shows the path to the file. And the file is there in my OneDrive. What could be going on? Thanks!
I have had an error like : "No input parameters provided. Please provide required input parameters 'To', 'Subject' and 'Body'." , I just not used IF condition , attachment status yes or no , I'm using one controlling as sending e-mail, would be it related to this?
Followed the directions and it works great, except that when i upload attachments, no attachments are added to the email. "ActionBranchingConditionNotSatisfied". Where did I go wrong?
great tutorial! How about form with multiple fields to add attachment? I have 2 different fields for responder to upload their attachment and the path are divided by Question and Question 1, having problem to get it work.

I have a survey with more than 30 multi-file, not mandatory upload questions. I want to use power automate to build Excel with links to these attachments (using friendly name). I would love to call a child flow (that would do the parsing, and retrieving a link) in place where I assign response to Excel column. However that is not possible. Is there better way to handle that case ? All internet solutions says about one or two upload questions. But what if I have so Many?
I have used your video for two of the three forms I created. I have been successful on the first two but keep getting an error message when running the final test on the third. The first issue I run into is when completing the step for Getting file content using the path. I follow the path to my form and select a question but I get a "No items". The attachment isn't there. To find the attachment I need to select Question 1 instead. When I fun the flow at the end I get a error message that says "The resource cannot be found".
Great tutorial! I've chosen to get file using SharePoint. Everything works perfectly EXCEPT, Power Automate will not attach MS Office files to the email. I've tested png, pdf, gif, etc and those work perfectly. Also, I can see the MS Office files in the SharePoint library where they land (along with the files that aren't MS Office). Any idea what the reason could be? I've googled until I have googly eyes and can't seem to find a solution. Thanks!

But I have a quick question, the file uploaded to Forms contains the user's first and last name when sending it by email, is it possible to remove it?

Solved by inspecting element and copying the "title" field.
Stuck at 10:24 building the json. Keep getting "Enter a valid json".
ActionBranchingConditionNotSatisfied. The execution of template action 'Parse_JSON' skipped: the branching condition for this action is not satisfied.

Hi, what about multiple questions with upload? one quesiton one file or multiple file work fine. However I have not been able to run flow with more than one questions with upload. It is getting the file path correctly but not able to add the file to the share point list. Any idea about the solution? thanks

Hi, Thanks for this. This is very helpful However, How do I change the Sender (Email From)? I tried to test the forms to other person but the email address doesn't change its still from my me.
If you choose the mail connector instead of outlook you can have it come from a generic box. You could also add a mail sender account for just that step. Otherwise you need “send as” permissions for everyone

Unfortunately as a limit of forms - this isn’t possible

Cool and stuff, you make two emails. one for attached, one for no attachment. I have to do 150 separate emails that has the attachment and then another 150 with no attachment? that is not automation

Hello, great video and very informative, however I keep receiving the following notification when I attempt to open the attached files. "Adobe Acrobat could not open “file name here” because it is either not a supported file type, or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded).". This is the final piece that I need solved, and any help would be much appreciated!

I assume that this only meant for internal use only, so I still cannot use it with those that are external to my organisation. Would be great to have some clarification.
That is correct. Internal only. It’s a limitation of forms

yes - absolutely you could. the steps would be nearly identical, you just choose that action instead.
@@JonJLevesque I tried to do that but unfortunately posting a message to a channel connector doesn't allow attachments. It only send text

Good video. A bit too fast and no explanation what each function does, but helped me.
Followed this to the letter and it does not work. Attachments do not show in the email. This entire video is a waste to time if the end result doesn't work.
I was optimistic, but he was moving WAY too fast for me. Guess I'll keep looking
