When I got married exactly today 5 years ago, I and my wife went to see Europe in Germany. They had concert two days later on 25th of October, the birthday of John. I will always remember this day. Joey came to us and gave us picks- to her and to me. I grew up with Europe, I am geting older with them, they wrote the soundtrack of my life. Europe forever.

Growing up a teen in the 80s, Europe became my favorite band ever. I got to see them and meet them at The Masquerade in Atlanta Georgia several years ago, what a show! For all of us fans, Europe has been there for our best times and they've been there to get us through our toughest times. Europe, your fans love you and you are the best!

I spent my teenage days listening again and again all of the cassetes that i could get from Europe, i still have some of them like treasures in my room. If you come again to Spain ( saw you on Santander some years ago) you won´t leave the country without signing me one of those cassetes. :) I´m not sure if you are aware of what your songs and your art meant for so many people that grew up learning all the lyrics, the battery tabs, guitar riffs and so on. You music and masterpieces has been and are part of our lifes, recorded in our memory forever, and, the feelings that we have when we listen you just trascend time and space and it always will. Thank you so much for dedicating your life in making us feel so good. You are fuc*ing legends. You are not allowed to die ever. We want Europe for the whole eternity.

I remember in the late 70's, a school friend and I were going to Åre, a ski resort up in the country of Sweden. We were going in his red Volvo. I had forgotten to bring my cassette tapes. My friend who was driving asked me to rummage in the hand compartment for a cassette, he was talking about a basement rock band and he had received a demo tape from the singer - I put the cassette in the player; WOW that sounded really really great! The whole trip back and forth we listened enthusiastically to this basement rock band - EUROPE :-)

I have been a huge massive fan of Europe since 1986, and I love them more now than ever before. They have way more great songs than just The Final Countdown, Carrie, Rock The Night, and Superstitious. Their first two albums the self titled debut album and Wings Of Tomorrow are my favorites, but I also love everything they have done since they reunited with Start From The Dark. I have never seen Europe live in concert, and my first opportunity came up for this month at the House Of Blues, but this pandemic had other plans. I still hope to see Europe in concert one day. They are just a phenomenal band, and it is still the exact same lineup that did The Final Countdown album almost 35 years ago. Not many bands have their classic lineup.
