i had the old version of this, the thing was a pain in the ass to take apart and the paint on the steel plate started to flake off but i did beat the holy hell out of that board and i really liked it regardless, nice to see tecware update it while keeping the price reasonable, i think the only thing different they could've done this time around is get rid of that steel plate and use pc instead
I'm still new to the Keyboard game, but I love the sound of the Pink Linear Switch. The sound and the way he described does give me a good sense of it performs. Phantom+ Elite seems like the best choice thus far for me. I like the price as well. Great video as well
i was never a keyboard enthusiast let alone know how to mod keyboards but damn, after i bought this with pink switches i may never go back to any generic mechanical keyboards.
I just wish this keyboard is available in my country rn 😂. The non elite one is available but only blue and brown switches and idk how the brown switch sounds so idk if I should get it because I want the red switches.
I would look at the Maxfit 81 frost. 3/5 pin hotswap, tow layers of dampening foam, PC transparent case, dual stabilizers, a small oled screen, a volume nob, Bluetooth, 2.4ghz and type c all for $86. Probably going to be my next keyboard, hated the feel of gen 1 hunstam mini optical switches.
@@TooMuchTech fair enough, although im trying to stay in the signalRGB ecosystem and they have 0 tecware products, which hurts considering this keyboard is really awesome.
Probably just a factory inconsistency since people actually have to put the stabs together by hand lol. It could be better and more consistent, but I would still take the keyboard and 10 bucks worth of krytox and add a bit more for a better experience. The rest of it was really good so I think it’s a small thing to improve to get it closer to perfect

What's up with the spacebar stabs on the elite? That was odd how it sounded much better on the regular plus. Would expect the opposite.

If you've tried the Keychron K8, which one would you choose? Both are budget and hot swappable.
Phantom+ Elite 87 is way better than K8 .. trust me
