I have a 85 Monte Carlo and on my autometer my signal lights aren't working. I can hear them clicking but they're not showing on the dash. I noticed on the stock harness there's 2 Light blues and 2 dark blues for the signal lights what I did was for each, I would twist them together and then I will connect them to the auto meter harness wire. is that the right way or am I just supposed to use one of each dark blue and light blue?

Check out Dakota Digital or Intellitronix LED Digital Gauge. I don’t know if there’s a dash like mines ready for that car yet.

One of them. I seen videos on that on CZcams where guys used both wires I usually use one after I check for signal.
@@BaggsOnTheGo and when you’re checking for signal for a single wire, does it pulsate 0 to 12volt
I usually use my test light not a volt meter
Was there anything special you used to get rid of that nasty smell? I’m dealing with the same thing working on this cutlass it had some mice in it.
I removed everything when we redid the interior and I also found that air vent ducts needed to be cleaned

@@84SS931 if you can’t take it all apart just hit stem clean the vents and blow out with air.

So when it was removed someone didn’t screw it back together

Idk I never had a chance to experience a Dakota I just like the Autometer
