He does cut out his curses so youtube does not demonetize him and because then he can put his music in ads, if he swore he could not, and a lot of kids love tom, and watch his videos, so he does it for all those reasons!
Tom has said in his lives that kids and families are one of the main reasons he cuts out the cursing. Kids love his songs like Buttholes and I'm so corny and he doesn't want to be giving kids negative stuff or have parents have to choose between their kids and his music.
