Liar Liar Court Scene

  • One of my favorite scenes from Liar Liar.
Breaks my heart that this kind of nonsense still happens.
As my beautiful daughter's sixteenth birthday rapidly approaches, I take a glance back at some of the unnecessary hardships that she and I have had to endure throughout this beautiful journey.
So this one's for my Imperfect, Indestructible, Intentional #Fathers out there, who have dug their heels in and stayed the course, against all odds.
We see you, we Love you, may the bond you have with your child forever remain unbreakable and may you continue to inspire them to be the best they can be, as you continue to be the best you can be.
    God blees you all. đŸ‘đŸŸđŸ™ŒđŸŸđŸ™đŸŸ

As someone with Aspergers Syndrome, I’d like to give a great big THANK YOU to a lot of the commenters here. I saw this when I was 12 or 13, didn’t understand what was going on - in hindsight, I THOUGHT it was my Aspergers, but it turns out ALOT of you didn’t understand the scene at that age either! Thanks for making me realize that, as far as this scenario is concerned, it was (for lack of a better word) normal for me to NOT understand this scene at that age.

Let me help you with that... lets looks at how his character developed in this scene and apply it...
He was so overcome with guilt over the parental rights that he placed himself in contempt of court, he is also still Ms.Cole's Attorney and she knows NOTHING of this incident, and he just won her MILLIONS on a technicality.
Technically speaking he very well could sneakily sabotage her custody proceedings via telling the truth thus repenting for his previous misdeeds and completing his characters transformation. Father still loses millions but gets to keep his kids.

@@achilleuspetreas3828 The point would be it's silly to 'hope a fictional character gets something' especially after the stories conclusion.
Kids being slaughtered in a movie would be sad, hoping their families can find consolation is idiotic.

The judge in this movie unfortunately died of a heart attack during production. Yeah, Jason Bernard died of a heart attack while driving. Had a car wreck because of it, but he was dead on the scene. Didn't make it to the hospital in time. He was 58 years old.
