Huge oxygen tank passes through town in 2020

- In 2020, a large 225 tonne medical grade oxygen tank made its way through Cannock in Staffordshire, escorted by police.
The 225 tonne oxygen tank, belonging to Air Liquide, was empty. The load was 49m long, 6.5m high and 4.9m wide and transported by Collett Ltd. Due to the abnormally large size, police were available to shut down junctions and escort the convoy. Various staff were on hand to cut trees, lift BT cables, and move roadside furniture to allow for the safe passage of the vehicle.
The load was 1 of 4 to pass through the counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire, and Warwickshire during the summer of 2020.

This was heavily covered on my LOCAL Social Media FB Groups at the time, and actually went past a friend of mines House.
What a "Route" they had to use, and part of the convoy team included BT Engineers, who had to take down overhead Cables, and reinstate them, a few mins later.
I remember it well. It was all over the news and social media! Lots of talk. The initial videos I put up at the time had lots of comments.
It was quite interesting watching the support crews go ahead to clear the route and then put it all back again.
Shouldn't there have been a fire service escort with it for such a big load of flammable stuff!!
5 days to move each one..... How boring is that.....
I've alway wondered what they do for toilet when out on the road like that.....
Well, everyone needs a hobby.
why would they do such a transport in the middle of the day? Why not in the night, when streets are mostly empty anyway?
I'd definitely be doing my walk around checks on that trailer seat if I was sitting there

It was done obera 5 day period as it's that slow, it won't fit under motorway bridges etc....
They can only use side roads, the crews have to be there to lift cables and remove street furniture....aka signs and stuff
