This ride brings back so many memories for me! Omg! I was a kid, literally in the 1990s and early 2000s, playing on this ride!! Glad to see it’s still there after all these years…😊😊😊
This was and still is my favorite ride at Disney World during my Make A Wish trip.
I remember when I went, I got stuck at 5:54. There was a guy over the all call telling us it'd get moving, but I had to hear "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED SPACE RANGERS" and "I'LL BE BACK" for like 5 minutes.

This ride will always have a special place in my heart
I have the clear memory of being terrified of this ride when I was like 5, where I was hiding in the ride the whole time. And now that we're planning to go there in September, I have a beef with this ride and I'm getting on it first and getting that high score
The ride is closed for redoing it
I agree I used to be scared to but now I really want to go, I even been even scared on space mountain I had my arm on my head lol thank god I got that over with.
Honestly this ride never scared me, but I’m scared of some roller coasters. We are all so proud of you for getting over your fear. May God bless you.

Last year I went on this and the ride broke down (I forget how) right in front of the aliens, so while the ride was still running, I heard nothing but “Follow Zerg. Zerg escapes. Through the escape hatch.”
IT's kinda fun being able to look at the backgrounds and stuff. I'm always hyperfixated on the targets when i'm playing.
This ride reminds me of Swayzak from Toonami.

To infinity and beyond I loved this ride when I was there along time ago my family and I were there just before we moved and it was so much fun and I missed it so much

I Loved this Ride game!! and the date of this video is literally the same date me and my Aunt went to DisneyWorld when things were recovering from May-July.
In buzz lightyear Astro blasters zurg sounds more movie accurate
Zurg sounds more like Moltar when he's angry, as opposed to movie Zurg who sounds like regular Moltar.

I remember going on the ride when I was young too. I had even have a ride photo on the fridge to this day.
I remember my parents and I got stuck on this ride once. The vehicle stopped moving at the escape hatch part halfway through, and for almost 10 minutes we kept hearing the LGMs saying “Through the escape hatch! Follow Zurg!” over and over again!
Still a fun ride though.

I actually visited magic kingdom recently and i got stuck in the first room with those robots, i could hear the audio of that room and the one right before it at the same time, even the lights came on

Just went back to magic kingdom after a few years and holy hell this ride is awesome. It would be cool if there was a star wars version of this ride, either OT or sequel themed, and I have neat ideas for each room
2:06 have all the robots be at-at or at-st walkers

3:35 hallway with stormtroopers that you can knock down
4:49 tie fighters would be flying all around and you have to shoot them down

The only thing I hate about this ride is that there’s always a part where it stops randomly and we have to wait long
As much as I enjoy one of my original "go-to" attractions, "Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin," I totally won't forget the time I first ever reached Galactic Hero (a score of 999,999+ points) back on August 6th, 2019.😄 It was certainly the best WDW dream come true out of everything back in my latest WDW trip of 2019.😊
Don't get me wrong, "Toy Story Midway Mania!" is still one of my best WDW attractions, (I do decent to pretty good on that attraction, my highest score ever was like in the 239K zone).😁 Sorry that you're not too great at "Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin" and better at "Toy Story Midway Mania!" (no offense).😆😂😅🤣

Hi Kev! Sorry it took so long to get this video done. I have been on it a couple of times since you asked, but the footage did not come out good then, but this time I was happy with how the footage looked overall. I had the same problem with the Frozen show. I have to go back and film it again so I promise I will get that done somewhat soon. I am also so glad Disneyland is back open too! I plan on visiting there in the near future hopefully when they will allow out of state guests to visit. Thanks for watching as always Kev! 😃

My fondest memories from Disney World were being on this ride. I remember when I went when I was about 6 or 7 in either 2009 or 2010. Buzz Lightyear was my favorite Disney character and I remember sprinting to the line for this ride the second I saw it. I ended up going on it maybe about 20-25 times. I had so much fun that I refused to get off the ride. My dad and I ended up going on the ride so much the people working there gave us a fast pass (it was probably called something else but it was like the equivalent of a fast pass) to skip the line just for that ride. I haven't been back to Disney World since but the next time I go this will be the first ride I go on.
I also went in 2009 and this was my brother's favourite ride. I didn't go to Tomorrowland; I met the princesses at Mickey's Toontown Fair instead.
This was my fave bc i loved toy story and got buzz for xmas 95.

@@AlextheHistorian In this ride's defense, this version was made before Toy Story 2 was released in cinemas. Every other iteration of the ride released after uses Zurg's proper voice, as they got the guy from Toy Story 2 to reprise his role.
@@blackphoenix9000 I heard that Frank Welker voiced Zurg in this version. I think he voices Soundwave in transformers

It's a fun ride, but the scenery & animatronics need a _serious_ overhaul. I know they were made around '98 '99, & they looked fine in their day, _but they have not aged well._
The sets of this ride would fit right in at a Six Flags or a similar park, but in a _Disney_ park, it's embarrassing.
It makes weird sense if you know who Swayzak from Toonami is!
This ride at Disneyland Paris is better

this ride needs a huge update or retheme
One idea I saw online which I think could work would be to plus-up the ride or retheme it in coordination with the new Lightyear movie coming out.

I know this ride is old but holy shit is it bad. Some rides age like fine wine and are great but this has aged like 50 year old expired cheese. It pains me because having the character buzz lightyear have a ride at the main florida disney park u would think would be great but instead we get almost entirely static cardboard looking cutouts that we have to shoot at. On top of that u can barely even tell where ur shooting. This ride with a major upgrade could be so good but right now I honestly think this ride isnt even worth using a fastpass on thats how bad it is. I love Toy Story Mania and I think Men in black at UO is decent as well but this is just atrocious im sorry.
