To be fair I don't think the "clicker" wants to be found. A man's is so obvious it pokes you in the hip when you hug or your back while you try to sleep, while a woman's is a tiny bit tucked in a hoodie which is hiding in a clam and located away from the hole. It doesn't want to cooperate. You can't blame a guy too much for giving up on finding Waldo when Waldo is being a bit of a dick.
Most guys have nothing to turn to for sex advice except porn and that's sad. It's seems that the more connected we become the less people seem to know.
The deal with sex and marriage is that you fall into a schedule and the stress of daily life takes over and you end up falling into a routine that works for you and then the days start going by. Your relationship becomes robotic and soon you stop dating each other and trying to woo each other and after a while you're mostly roommates. It's easy to do, the last 4 years of my marriage were completely sexless (for me anyway).
The trick to making it work is to never become just roommates. Find someone that is your best friend, someone you share values with, respect, and enjoy spending time with, but also you should like the way their mind works. Then never stop dating or having fun together. The moment a couple stops having fun together is the moment their relationship starts dying.
Also, a great sex life. Good sex is the drug that lets you look past 98% of your partner's bullshit. Sure, communication is important but if you're not banging enough it will only help so much. Be friends, be religious about dating each other, focus on having fun together, and fuck like rabbits.
When/if you have kids your instinct might be to put your kid first before your partner and marriage but if you do that will put distance in your marriage and you probably won't make it.

Yeah, I just got out of a relationship where there was very little communication from her end, but she made sure to let me know all her needs and preferences AFTER the breakup. So, at least she did eventually communicate a little. It helped me get closure, if nothing more. Now her new guy kinda gives me this condescending, self-superior look of champions every time I see him in public, and I hold back from sayin have fun dude, you have no idea what you’re in for.

As a married man with a kid, I can attest to the no sex. Unless you have no kids, financial stress, etc. it’s rather bleak in that department. My wife works 2 part time jobs and glued to this kid and i work full time plus… best thing you can hope for is a decent nights sleep and a birthday handy

I personally think marriage is a bad idea. If you want to be with someone, be with them. Don't sign contracts that bind you to the state, and don't make promises you cannot absolutely keep. People change with time, some people get bored with just one person, others love sex. We each have to figure out the life we want to live.

I will say this, I got laid far more often before and after my 10 year marriage. She was brought up in uber-religious house where it was taught as being "dirty". By the time I finally got her to open up her libido, it was pretty much over, I had given up on the marriage finally. I think this story shows why his marriage failed and he didn't even realise it at this point. I've been married for 10 years and we have 3 kids and yeah, the sex slows a lot but I'm not really in the mood anyway. My wife is the one who wants it more than me. I wouldnt recommend having kids. Or getting married, unless theres some legal tax reason or something to do it.
If I never had my kid, my life would be very different. It would be a lot more fun and exciting.
And my 5yo is super cool. Quotes movies, plays Nintendo, comes up with the most acid trip stories off the top of her head, great comedic timing.

Marriage is a beautiful thing when you have two people who build each other up and complement one another well. Who haven't settled or jumped into it for all the wrong reasons. Who understand that cohabitation means sacrifices and compromises must be made AND maintained, because living alone is when you get 100% of what you want 100% of the time. Not when you are married and sharing a life! You build the right foundation, you get to have a house that will not fall or one you will not vacate!
