    I started researching trikes and found Rewaco, I was so impressed that within a week we looked at, test rode and bought the GT TOURING model.
    You are right about the side-impact bars, so I made custom diamond plates to fill those in.
    This trike is the ultimate ride and my owners group said it best, if you buy one, you have to be willing to talk to strangers!

    I've owned mine for he past 10mths with approx 11k miles on it and I'm loving every bit of it. REWACO is not comparable to a side-by-side. On a REWACO you have a handlebar and a pillion rider. On a reversed trike the wheels are upfront. The REWACO touring models have great cargo space in the rear trunk. Your pillion rider has a better view of the rode and is not slammed into your back as a reversed trike or crammed in next to you. Due to the riders being low to the ground, REWACO trikes hold the road with out the "TIPOVER" feel. All that being said, Rewaco was designed and built for its own class. Ride one and you'll see what I'm talking about.

    I like it that it is a automatic. But why do all models take only Super-Premium 93 octane or higher gasoline? Running Regular 87 octane gasoline in these Trikes will kill them in a short time.

    I haven’t ridden one of these but I work in the insurance industry as an estimator, mostly on specialty vehicles like bikes and trikes. The one thing I will say from my experience is that parts for these are available, but you will not get them quickly because they all come straight from Germany. That said, these just look so different and I would love to get one myself.

    I looked at one of these and the Freewheeler, i went with the Freewheeler, i have a stage 2 and it handles just fine to me AFTER i got used to it. It did take 500 miles but its comfortable as hell

    This is, hands-down, the most bonkers thing I've ever looked at. That said, it's also seriously growing on me. I told my dad last year that if he were to buy something other than a car, a trike would be the way to go because of his age and health. He brought up that he liked the look of the Polaris Slingshot and the Can-Am Spyder, but didn't know about the poor reliability reputation until I told him why he should avoid them like the plague. I admit that I didn't know about this until now and I should recommend it to him

    Get matte screen protector for a large cell phone or small tablet and put it on the display. You'll then be able to see the display with polarized glasses.

    The Harley steering is heavy due to fork angle just kick the angle more forward that would make it easier to turn.

    The difference in handlebar forces is due to the placement of the motor. On the Tri-Glide the motor is under the rider and well forward of the rear axle meaning a lot more weight in the front end. On the Rewaco trike the weight of the motor is over the rear axle and the front axle is way ahead of the frame meaning much lighter loading on the front tire. I'm not sure that a lightly loaded front wheel is a good thing in strong crosswind or in the rain.

    The key is the mechanic's key. It allows you to start it and drive it, but it doesn't give you all the features. From memory, no ABS for example

    I own a BOOM Vw TRIKE 1600cc LOWRIDER 2004 here in the UK which is very similar to this rewaco, it has manual shift and ape hangers that don't obstruct your view of the road unlike those t bars ! Not sure if you can get BOOM'S in the US ?

      I own a 2022 REWACO PUR3 Touring and the handle bars don't obstruct my view. If you are vertically challenged... your choices become somewhat difficult. Rewaco has built-in modes for adjustment of the brake and I have a fellow rider that has changed their handlebars due to being short.

      some rewaco trikes to but not all, you can have one fitted to just about all of the rewaco trikes but its not cheap.

  • @JoeTexan

    Turning is easier than a Harley because of the RAKE of the front end. HD is nowhere close to that rake, thus making it harder to turn than the Rewaco.

    Meh. I am not a fan of the three wheel world. Granted, I never rode any trike, well except as a child 😂. I am sure there are some advantages. To be blunt I rather ride this than the Cam Am Spyder. Those things look weird and fugly. A reversed trike. But, they are popular. Have you driven the Sling Shot?

  • @williamdavidson4576

    Nice bike. I'd love to own one, but for $50k++ out the door, they should make it right and not cut corners like this. Add bars closer together on the floorboards. I agree, the handlebar switches look like dime store quality. Remove the cheap name tag on the tank. Add a decent stereo, LED LIGHTS for crying out loud, big touchscreen with nav, like on the new BMW bikes. Bigger dealer network and you def got a winner. This reminds me a lot of my Indian Roadmaster, and how cheaply they build their bikes.

    you didnt talk about the rear bars that fold down to carry a luggage box, this trike doesnt have a boot but it can carry a large container on the back that can act as a boot.

    • @ninompsl7093
      @ninompsl7093 Před 8 měsíci

      The Vanderhall is a great looking "REVERSE" autocycle with a steering wheel. Looks similar as for having 3 wheels, but not comparable to a REWACO trike with handlebars. As for the HP... it's plenty to tow, travel and give you a thrill of riding.

    • @MotoSoulTherapy
      @MotoSoulTherapy Před 3 měsíci +1

      140 is the middle ground for Rewaco trikes, they also have 120hp non turbo and 180hp turbo versions which are 0-60mph in 5.9 seconds. with a tune on the 180hp version you can get around 230hp 0-60mph in 4 seconds they are not slow but they are not a superbike their just good fun to ride
