Great point about making videos and not always having to bring the heat. Be yourself and if someone is interested they will watch. You had an awesome year. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do a Top 15 video but it is fulfilling to go back and reflect on your year. As collectors we often look forward too much and don’t take enough time to reflect. I liked everyone of your pickups. They are not only great pieces, but I like the variety and connections you have in your collection. While my favorite player is the Mick, I think my favorite pickup is either the Williams or the Boudreau. I really like the Leaf cards. Congrats on finishing 57 Topps with that beautiful Brooks card. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Terry! I think I wanted to bring the heat when I started my CZcams channel but I decided against it cause a lot more people had more power flamethrowers than I did. You have to fund your nice in the CZcams world. I feel like I am still trying figure that out. I didn't realize I didn't have a bad year once I went back and looked at what I bought. I am very lucky with my purchases this year. I have a birthday next month so I think I'll do a "top" video then just to be different. I think I enjoy them more from people who have nice cards, but it's not Ty Cobb and 52 Mantle at the top. My countdown would hopefully be viewed as a modest one. That Lou Boudreau card I loved the minute I saw it. I was lucky I didn't have any competition for it. Thanks for watching, Terry!

As a Red Sox fan, I absolutely love the Bobby Doerr card and it's good to see Ted Williams again. Great concept for a video of reviewing the year in pickups. Keep up the great work.
That Simmons card is so evocative. He had played for Connie Mack's A's before the Diamond Stars issue came out, but was traded to the Tigers during the three-year production run. So you were savvy enough to get the original. Merry Christmas!
Love that 2020 Koufax card. My fav of the bunch. The other cards are great but like you, I don’t see pics of Koufax hitting often. Your Goudey, ‘63 Mick, ‘41 Teddy Ballgame, & Play Ball cards = ❤️ . Merry Christmas, and a happy new year

Great looking Brooks Robinson RC. I have not seen Koufax batting before either. I wonder why he was a right handed hitter. Rickey Henderson was the same way. Regarding your 1963 Mantle: If eBay is going to authenticate this, I wonder why they didn't red flag it since it has the wrong year on it. Are they only authenticating the card? I thought they would authenticate the slab as well. After all, you are buying the slab as well. In most cases, the prices is higher because it is in a slab.
Can you imagine Koufax batted right handed so his left elbow, wrist were exposed to the pitcher? The Brooks Robinson was a good looking card indeed. I was waiting for eBay to potentially say something. I showed the card to TJMAC (Terry) and he ran the serial number through the PSA Verifier on the website, where it did list the card as being from 1962 along with a photo of the card/slab. I thought they'd authenticate the slab too. I wanted the card so much that I didn't want them to flag it and return it to the seller. I'll probably fix it someday. Appreciate you watching!
