PhiPhi is very loud now, when you lie on the beach you hear the super loud long tail boats all day long... that's totally annoying, forget it... I was just there... 🙈🙈🙈
@@prasadmankar7650 I have neuer been to Hua Hin, I don't know if the beach is nice. But I went to Khao Lak, Lah Own Resort, that was very relaxed, the ocean is nice for swimming in Khao Lak.
Wow, can’t believe Phi Phi has changed so much! I was therefor 10 days back in the early 90’s, all they got was A Frame accommodations right or close to the beach. The shops were wooden shacks… So sad over tourism has ruined this island!
I was there in 2000 and same thing. Just a thatched hut with corrugated tin roof. I coconut fell on a tin roof in the middle the night and made a hell of a noise. It doesn't even look relaxing anymore.
I was in Glasgow when it was just thatched roof houses. The world develops. Shame that in Thailand they don't really have proper regulations and it gets developed badly, spoiling the looks.

Just left KPP yesterday. First thing you see when you arrive is a Burger King right next to a McDonald's. I was there a few months before the tsunami hit in 2004 and I can tell you they've ruined it.
Im going to Thailand in Dec/Jan, first 5 days in Bangkok and then Phuket for 8 days, i have accomodation booked for 4 days in Patong and 4 days in Old Town Phuket... but im unsure about old Town, i feel like 4 days is too much for Old Town, so i'd like to change it. Does anyone have any recomendations? Like maybe 2 days in Phi Phi and then 2 days in Old town?
If you like beaches, I think you should mainly stay in Patong. It is possible to ride a motorcycle to other beaches. The restaurant will be international style. There is no activity in Phuket Old Town during the day. But there is delicious local food. I think if you will be in Phuket Old Town. One Sunday night is enough. There is a Sunday walking street.
Phuket, Krabi and PhiPhi is now one of the most crowded places in the world. I was there last November/December, it was still off-season, it was okay, but from Christmas/January forget it... 🙈
According to enviourment professor Thong at kasertsat University Bangkok 83% of untreated water and sewerage release directly into the ocean at phi phi island due to the overwhelming of tourists visiting the island. What a shame !

Wow I never expected to see a Burger King and McDonalds on Phi Phi. I first went there back in 2016 and for a second time the following year.
I was there in 97 and there were a couple of bars n people making pancakes. Thanks mr dicaprio 😢

I stayed in old Phuket last spring. Avoiding patong as I’m in my 30’s. We took a ferry to Railay Beach. I highly recommend
