Happy to see Walmart sponsoring Christian's work.
This is so easy to understand, yet people still have disagreements about it. On top of that it shows God’s love and mercy towards His creatures!
Beautiful, why you’re not mainstream.. I will never know
Jesuits are based. I love Pope Francis.
If (1)ante praevisa merita God withholds efficacious grace from those he chooses to exclude from eternal glory, and (2)without efficacious grace, it is metaphysically impossible to be saved, does God then command the impossible?
Did you watch the entire video? I explained this when referring to the virtual containment of ordinary efficacious grace in sufficient grace.
I am very open to Thomism but I have a couple of questions. If Sufficient grace will always at some point be rejected, then how can we say that it is sufficient at all?
Also, how is it fair that due to Adams sin, we are all given a nature that without Gods divine assistance, will sin no matter what? To me this seems very unjust.
If God commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30), how can the grace given them be insufficient to accomplish that end? How is a grace “sufficient” if everyone who receives that grace doesn’t persevere?
That’s the entire subject of the video……
@@MilitantThomistIf one was given this “sufficient grace” or “ordinary efficacious grace” after the fall, they wouldn’t be able to repent as they ought to be saved, because of their sinful inclinations. So God would be commanding them to do something which they cannot do. It seems untenable.
I don't get it. Phenomenal video. Someday I'll understand Inshallah.
Why would every person, after the fall, resist sufficient grace? Is it not the case that everyone is physically capable of avoiding every sin?
Every person doesn’t resist every sufficient grace…many sufficient graces are not resisted.
Lose the flyover of the mountain scene. It is distracting.
Can extraordinary efficacious grace be impeded?
In a divided sense, yes
@@MilitantThomist Could you elaborate, or would I just have to read the book to understand?
@Christ_is_King- thanks
Unclear. So are there people that are just fucked?
Are there people who just will resist sufficient grace their entire lives? Yeah.
@@deusvult8340 Right, this canon seems to rule out this conception of an infallible efficient grace, whose function always causes the will to assent to it. The Jesuit position seems more congruent with Scripture.
@@christsavesreadromans1096 The Jesuit position seems more congruent with the Protestant fallible mis-interpretation of Scripture.
@@bengoolie5197 Can you elaborate as to how Jesus is the savior of all people (1 Timothy 4:10) if most people (as the saints have always taught that the elect are few) are entirely barred from salvation, because they haven’t received efficient grace?
@@christsavesreadromans1096Do you believe everybody will be saved?
