That moment where Eleven finally lets go of her abuser aka "papa" wasn't dramatic it was powerful.. something the writers did justice by is not making Max and Eleven over-sympathize with people who were cruel to them being Billy and Dr. Brenner, they both got the closure they needed to heal and move forward in life
i didnt like papa. im glad hes gone, now 11 dont have to worry about him no more.

Jonathan was further from Will but he heard him, so that's why i think maybe mike heard and saw him crying
It's just a theory. But I think it's very likely because at the rink o mania scene mike was able to point out Will's body language. "You were, you were! You were ROLLING YOUR EYES, YOU WERE MOPING, you basically sabotaged the whole day!"
And also mike is good a paying attention to when someothing is wrong with Will.
But again its just my opinion and I respect yours :)

Taylor Swift had a short film for All Too Well (10 minutes version) that came out last year starring Sadie Sink (Max) and Dylan O'Brien. She did say multiple times that if Sadie hadn't agreed to star in it she wouldn't have made the film and that she made this role specifically for Sadie, who really is super impressive there with her acting and emotional range.
I think what's probably even more impressive is that Darren Aronofsky mentioned he was really impressed with her and been wanting to work with her for some time, she now stars along with Brendan Fraser in his new movie The Whale and Aronofsky said she's his favorite new actor!
And in an interview Winona Ryder called her the next meryl streep and said she was like liv ullmann. Winona also wrote her profile recently when she was featured in time100 next
The competition will be tough so it may not happen... but I would not be surprised to see Sadie Sink at the Oscars this year. So far her and Brenden Fraser have gotten great reviews on that film.

@@PowerDiva IKR, As much as I'd like that, I think her chances of getting the supporting actress Oscar nomination are not that high because as you said the competition is tough (and A24 might run Hong Chau instead as she's a veteran and was snubbed of a nomination in the past), but regardless, for Sadie to even be in the Oscars conversations especially for her young age is HUGE. And I know her role is a very challenging one too as she's pretty much the unlikeable antagonist to Brendan's loveable protagonist.

Lucas and Max will forever hold the #1 relationship position in this show i do not careee those two have some of the best moments together. Even though it wasn’t in this reaction, the scene between lucas and erica when they all get a moment to prepare for battle is always gonna be one of my favorites. she really does love her brother no matter what her words say sometimes bc that girl can’t be forced to do anything she doesn’t want to lmaoo. Also el taking down that helicopter?? absolutely yes. and the reunion between will and el always makes me a little emotional because those two really did become family after hopper “died”. the “run him over” SENT me because I quite literally said the same thing, i’m with you nathan. excited to see y’all react to the finale!

actually, Taylor Swift wrote and directed her own short film to her song All Too Well (The 10 Minute Version) and it stars Sadie Sink and Dylan O’brien and Sadie was absolutely phenomenal in it. They won multiple VMAS for the short film and Sadie said that Taylor was such a good director. Sadie was also predicted to receive an Emmy for her performance in stranger things this season. She has a new movie called Dear Zoe coming out in just a few days along with another movie called The Whale that received a 10-minute standing ovation at the premiere and she stars alongside Brenden Fraser and it was directed by Darren Aronofsky. She’s recently been working on another movie called Berlin Nobody which I believe just wrapped. She has also been on the cover of 24 magazines including Vogue, Glamour, Wonderland, Fashion, WWW, Girlfriend, SFX, Schön, Cool!, NME, L’OFFICIEL, Cinemania, and more. She has been so busy lately and even Winona Ryder said that even when Sadie was young she recognized her talent and knew she was a rising star in the industry. She’s even starred on broadway and is a trained singer. I believe Sadie is one of the most talented actresses of our generation at only 20 years old.

The gate never opened when El fought Henry it closed after he went through,it opened when El made contact with the demogorgan in season 1,and El isn’t the last piece of the puzzle it could be any four kills to open up the four gates.Dr Brenner knew she isn’t strong enough to take on Vecna yet.
right! i had to explain it numerous times to my sister how it wasn't the same gate cuz the one with Henry was in 1979 and the one with the demogorgen was in 1983.

Actually, Taylor directed Sadie in a music video so as a director she can have a valid opinion, especially if you actually watch the video in question. Also, Darren Aronofsky said he has been wanting to work wiith Sadie ever since he first saw her in S2 and THE Winona Ryder said Sadie is a future Meryl Streep so I think Oscar nominated actors and directors' opinions are pretty validating. Everyone is very talented but Sadie has been carrying the emotional weight of S4 on her shoulders. And wait till you see her and Caleb/Lucas in ep 9.

Everythings they're arguing about is explained in the finale
Eddie: An outcast who takes other outcasts under his wing and helps them to see their worth in the face of bullies and a society that looks down on them. A gentle soul who blames himself for running when someone is being broken apart in front of his eyes by something he can't see and which could easily come for him next, and even feels bad for running when a jock who is out to kill him also gets broken apart. An honest, faithful guy who will go to hell to protect practical strangers and a town that treats him like garbage.
Billy: An abusive a**hole, who _chooses_ to terrorize his step-sister because he's mad at his father (who is also an a*hole). A racist bully who nearly beat someone to death because they prevented him from beating up a black 13 year old kid because he dared to hang out with his sister. A character who never exhibited one ounce of selflessness - yes, he saved El, which is a good thing, but he knew full well that if she died, his only chance of being free of the MF died with her, so it was still a self-serving act.
Only one of them is garbage and it sure isn't Eddie.

I love that so many moments of the show land, just goes to show what a talented cast and crew can do. Stranger things is genuinely funnier than a lot of comedy series these day, even amidst the more darker and serious aspects of the show

That was a really interesting scene - Mike and El have always been worried about each other but circumstances keep pulling them apart. So when Mike does get a chance to express what he really thinks - it always comes from a place of complete honesty.
It's actually sad. Mike literally feels inferior to El. They were cute in S2 but I hope they break up lol

Nancy literally has no reason to be guilty for Barb dying... she didn't do anything wrong and she didn't cause Barb's death lol. Nancy was wanting to spend time with her boyfriend while Barb was being weird and pushing for Nancy to not grow and do what she wanted to do... Nancy thought Barb left and went home, Barb was being a good friend by wanting to stay for Nancy but it still isn't Nancy's fault. It's understandable why Nancy may blame herself and feel guilt cause she lost her friend but the reality is she didn't do it and had no part in Barb's death .
Barb was a good friend. Remember back then Steve was a douchebag. He was a player and Barb just wanted to protect Nancy from being used. I agree her death is not Nancy's fault or Steve's. The only ones to blame are Henry and Brenner

And now Dylan is on Taylor's new album as a drummer on one of her songs and this video could be nominated for a Oscar next year.
I feel like they'd be so horrified seeing Sadie and Dylan dating there, especially after watching Stranger things and seeing Sadie as a kid. Which is exactly the reaction Taylor was aiming for when casting them, because of her own age gap and power imbalance with Jake.

I Loved Elevens scene with Papa during his death scene. I liked how she didn't give him what he wanted she didn't say it. She just put his hand down AND said Goodbye Papa and walked away which he deserved that. I am kind of going to miss Dr. Brenner because the actor did such a fantastic job as him. I Loved his as a recurring villain and I love Villains on screen that don't see themselves as Villains. Its just that much more fascinating to watch. The way Eleven let go of her abuser and walked away and blew up that helicopter. Dr. Brenner finally had one defining moment with saving Eleven. They would've killed her while she was still weak if he hadn't shielded her even though it was his fault. He could've left her but knowing he was gonna die he still grabbed her and they escaped from those military guys and he was willing to get shot several times. El was angry and she brought the helicopter down. She still had to see Papa in the end to confront and even get that goodbye cause he did raise her. He may be a monster but she still needed her goodbye along with showing him how pisssed she was I Liked that ending to his character and he died for something good cause he saved her so maybe he does care about her in his own way. No more Lab No Experiments this time actually saved her because he cared....

When Nancy was running away from Vecna, that was in her mind, the same way Vecna made Chrissy returned to her house and run, also with Max, all of that was in her mind, all of that while they were in that kind of trance.
Another thing is the upside down, when Steve went through the lake portal he entered the upside down.
Also I wanna say that I just HATE how Dr Brenner LOVES entering rooms walking very slowly while talking some stupid thing, EVERY damn time hahaha
Papa never activated the collar. They don't stop their powers. It just shocks them. I think its Brenner & 001's fault. 001/Henry was just fucked up in the head and a killer who needed to have his powers suppressed but he didn't need to experiment and continue something proven to be so dangerous. BTW, 8 is in Chicago as far as we know but I hope she shows up next year in season 5.

Jonathan wasn't it the action back in Hawkins but he did serve a purpose this season and it was to get El, Mike and Will back to Hawkins without him they wouldn't have gotten Argyle's van. And he was there for Will. I still call that meaningful.
