Awesome set-up with that bus to load /off load your bike. Love Bald River falls and the skyway.

Sweet area. Love the change back and forth between pavement and dirt. Looks like the bike is running well.

the Forest Service has some crazy tight-rope single track up here that I will not ride alone, they will never find my body? Look up Unicoi trail 81 and 82

I envy those who live in TN so much. I rode my bicycle through when I was 30 back in '04 and fell in love with the whole state.

      N. Georgia, Tenn. and N. Carolina are the most spectacular in the South. You can only scratch the surface and you can never see it all.

@@MotoGiant agreed, my bicycle route took me from Charleston,SC where I lived, along the beautiful Georgia border and up through the GSMNP down into the Cumberland Gap where I picked up the Trail of Tears auto route and followed that but I could have just as well roamed around east of the Gap the whole time and experienced just as much or more. The often overused cliche that folks in small town US are extra friendly is actually true down there as well. Catfish n grits baby hell yes!

He was actually camping in TN in the Cherokee National Forest and the river he references riding by 8 times a day is the Tellico River. We live here and love it.
