    Cradle Mountain is located in the Lake St Clair National Park which is part of the World Heritage-
    listed Tasmanian Wilderness Area. It offers many world-class hiking trails and unique wildlife
    experiences.
    Cradle Mountain is a 1hr 45min drive (140km) west of Launceston, one and half hour drive (87km)
    from Devonport, or a 4hr drive (300km) north-west of Hobart.
    The key question is, should I visit Cradle Mountain?

    Excellent video. We were there in March. We had perfect weather and it was picture perfect. We saw lots of wildlife just metres from the Cradle Mountain Lodge and were treated to platypuses frolicking in the dam outside the restaurant during breakfast. Great memories.
