    Great job building and filming this project👍 if I stored my storage containers under the back part of the casting deck, they would eventually come sliding back out at me with tackle everywhere😂

      Also was that marine carpet expensive or is there somewhere to get it cheap?

    • @lethosadventures
      @lethosadventures  Před 3 lety

      @@keyansmall1298 thanks for the awesome feedback. yes it is marine carpet. I wouldn't suggest using normal carpet because it will rot once water is on it especially salt water. marine carpet is best because it wont rot. it was $45 per meter and well worth the $$$$ have a look at RTM store or even BCF they have great prices. thanks. :)

    Why did you roll the paint instead of spraying it ?
    Good job overall well done

    • @lethosadventures
      @lethosadventures  Před rokem

      Hay bud I don’t have a spray gun but even if I did have one I would have still just used a roller. For some reason with the 2 part paint when you roll the paint on it flatten itself out. It sort of look like the paint stretches. I’m doing another boat at the moment and rolling the paint on aswell. The results of a spray gun will look better but I don’t mind the results of using a roller because it’s a neater job. The spray from a spray gun can get messy..

  • @rikkwakeupwesternworld9874

    Excellent video and entertaining with it, well done. Have a Savage 3.66 tinny very similar set up just finished getting it ready for the water. Installing a few stainless handrails so grandkids can hold on. Mine has a 7.5 Johnson and will pull 25 KPH lightly loaded in smooth water, and cheap to run as my last boat was a 16 footer with a 90HP Johnson and it would burn 60+ litres for a day out. This little one uses 10....... Cheers

    • @lethosadventures
      @lethosadventures  Před 2 lety +1

      @@anthonymurphy2754 hay bud you would use 12 mm for the floor but if you do make sure you install aluminium ribs so the floor doesn’t bend or sink in. 12mm should be fine and light this is for the floor in general. With the casting deck I would probably use a bit thicker wood 🪵 15mm or even just 12mm again hope this helps
