    tbh this series is awesome, I have some hours in the game but this really elevated my capability to both make good multi turret designs and to make a ship look great. definitely worth a like and sub

    Always exciting when you upload a longer FTD video. I personally would love to see 1hr long videos that would showcase you building a ship from beginning to end. (Every step) As a new player i think something like that would help me a lot. Being able to give me ideas how to make the hull, engine, guns, etc

    This shield in front of the front most turret is called wave breaker and its purpose is to reduce the amount of pressure that waves washing over the front deck put on the rotation parts of the front most turret tu prevent damage and most of the time its slightly angled forward

    Edit again: nevermind my suggestion was the guardian class - steel onslaught which foesnt make sense since the word onslaught is for the offensive and not defensive like the word guardian

    Hey JustaWrench, would you be interested in a multiplayer campaign ffa series with Brenzo (the guy, who updated Robbaz's Ragnarok) and maybe with some other NA FTD youtubers? I already asked Brenzo, he is interested.

      I’ll have to think about it. I next to never play multiplayer in FTD due to how frequent de-syncing is, as well as trying to manage two or three peoples resources for ships and stuff is a pain. Now, this being said I do think (if it’d work) it would be fun.

    Do those CIWS settings really work well? Cause, at least as I understand, a lot of them is just nonsense. First two and the last one work great but others basically do nothing.
    3rd condition: Cluster size supposed to add priority to places with a lot of munition (usually for FLAK) but you do: if there is 1 projectile add 0 weight, if more (for some reason you set the value to also 1) add 10 weight.
    The 4th condition does that: checks if the diameter of the munition is in interval between 0mm and 1mm and if this condition is true adds 5 weight (why?).
    The 5th condition does that: it adds more priority to projectiles that closer but you set minimum distance to 0 (meters) and maximum distance to 1 (meter) so what it does: if the munition is closer than 0 meters (that's not good) then try to shoot it first. if munition is further than 1 meter (also pretty close) try to shoot it after.
    How to fix that:
    That's pretty easy, but it really depends on what behavior you want to expect.
    At first, increase the right range value of condition number 3 (Cluster size) to the value of aprox. 4 or 5. This will make your guns try to shoot at bigger clusters of projectiles (useful if they have area damage or you want to decrease aiming time).
    Then, you can basicly delete the 4th condition. It's very situational (For example when you want to prioritize specific size of missile) and I don't think you really need it here.
    Lastly (the most important), set the right (highest) range value to somewhere about 2000 m and left range value (lowest) for about 200- 800 meters. This will make cannons at first prioritize all munition that is closer than left value (gives them left value).
    And also increase it's left weight value for like 5 or 6 and right for -5 or -6.
    Ah, and also I think you should set weights of your second condition to minimum and maximum values (left and right accordingly).
    This should ensure that only 1 cannon is firing at the same munition.
