Having been awarded the rookie of the year after a year since their debut, BOYFRIEND, who have impressed Asia, came back with their first studio album "JANUS".

Korea's greatest producer SWEETUNE has once again put their efforts into the project for BOYFRIEND. The new song 'Janus' features a beautifully rich instrumental of piano, strings and bass on top of the members' mature vocals. The song itself depicts the emotions of a man who puts a smile on in front of his lover to let her go, but feels tormented on the inside.
This album also contains members' solo tracks.
"Trippin'" by HyunSeong is about a girl who keeps falling which causes her boyfriend pain. HyunSeong's voice leaves the listener feeling emotional more than anything else. Another solo track, "Listen" by the leader of the group, DongHyun, delivers his grateful thoughts to his fans.
JeongMin's solo track "My Dear" is a pop ballad where its acoustic melody and warm lyrics express the sweet and lovely feelings towards the person one loved.
The rest of the tracks 'Good Night', 'Excused Me, 'Go Back', 'Excuse Me' and 'Soul Mate' also show off the boys' musical spectrum and completeness of the production.

Jujur, sampai sekarang aku masih kesal sama agensi ini, agensi yang 'membuang' BF disaat nama mereka lagi naik-naiknya. Membuat BF fokus di JP, sampai mereka dilupakan di KR karena jarang comeback di negaranya sendiri.
Benar-benar bersyukur karena BF masih bersama, tetap berenam tanpa melupakan satu anggota pun (tapi kalo sekarang lagi cuma berlima karena Youngmin ikut wamil). Hubungan mereka bukan kayak rekan kerja lagi, tapi udah seperti keluarga.

If you didn't know, Boyfriend is back! Redebuted as BF since 2021 with a new agency. They just released a new album called "Curtain Call" + a new MV called "Finale" on April, also a new fan-song called "The Day Of May" for their 12th anniversary on 26 May.

BOYFRIEND is so underrated T.T I knew them since 2011, they were the most popular make rookie group with B1A4. They could become very popular if they appear on more shows and more promotions, it's a pity that starship didn't value them enough and push them to the side and send them to Japan. Me 😭 im not bestfriend but i really like them like they're my baby group. Though im not really updated of how they're doing, I was always wishing they're doing well. I often come here to listen to Janus but today, i heard about the disbandment and so sad 😭😭 im so sorry for all Bestfriends out there. Let's hope everything will turn out well for all of them

I actually came back to inform people. It's sad. I expected it tho, I mean Starship stopped promoting them well after Monsta-X debuted and after being in Japan and hearing about A-Jax I was hoping they wouldn't follow the same path but that's what happens when groups get shipped off to Japan. Boyfriend, A-Jax, APeace and D-Crunch were all shipped off instead of being promoted by their companies better and now that both A-Jax and Boyfriend are gone I'm worried about D-Crunch. I assumed APeace disbanded already cause I heard nothing about them until a few mouths ago and by that time they were already promoting in Japan. I wish Starship would've promoted our boys better as I was really hoping for a Boyfriend x Monsta-X collaboration stage or something like what NU'EST and Seventeen did

They did go to my country and were the 1st kpop act to go to my country actually, and my Aunt went I think it was around 2014, but I was too little and knew nothing about kpop only a few things about my aunt’s ult 🤷🏽♀️. Till today my biggest regret in life has been leaving kpop but at least I’m grateful that I’m into it 🤓
