Yeah, all their live shows are real vocals. They never use those.. Taka definitely has the best vocals out there. Check out Wasted Nights (xxxv live), Heartache (live), and Hello cover by Taka.
Your career won't last long in Japan as a singer esp. a rock band or band in general if you do lypsyncing or don't do live singing in a concert or in any performances. It is not prohibited but Japanese despise and hate it. One of the reason why One Ok Rock last long (they are already on their 17th year dis year) and well known in Japan bcoz of their ability to perform great in terms of live performances and concerts. That is why their concerts are always sold out and always held in domes, arena's and stadiums. Taka is very well known as one of the great vocalist in Japan. Thankyou for checking them out btw :)

Well u can check out another japanese who can sing alive without autotune it is one ok rock senior dir en grey.. they're awesome live.. well japanese Rock band actually very awesome when they're singing alive.. like l arc en ciel, GLay, HYDE, Dir en grey, XJapan etc... One ok rock is a new generation of rock band in japan.
Been to their concert they are the best live performer. Taka vocal is better live than record. 100% live I swear to you that. And the dome stadium with its ceiling make the echo effect :))))
Suggest you listen to Lovebites Set The World On Fire live if you like thrash metal. Brutal riffage that brings back the slayer / testament riffs from the 80s.

Great reaction.👍 I don't think these guys redo their vocals or instruments...but I feel like the live tracks usually get an extensive polishing in the studio, plus the addition of some effects and keyboard tracks.
