I just bought a truck and have been watching a lot of your videos. It's awesome to see your process. You might want to black out the GPS on the bottom of your dashcam. It shows right where your house is.
Hey awesome trailer. How much was it? 😆 🤣 😂 😹 just kidding great price. Can't wait to see what you do with it. Did not see it in your new video but I'll enjoy the journey of this playlist. 🤙👍
Since the trailer when static has only 3 ground contact points. I would be worth light 2 small screw jack's on each end of the bumper. That way if to heavy a load is put on the rear of the trailer before the axle it can't tip up. Say you had 2 X 1ton bags of gravel were put just to far back, the trailer could flip up

@@johndoes2434 Hi! You will need one that has been reconditioned to do that job. If you are serious about purchasing one contact my friend Martin at fmtvsales.com. You can pick one out that you want reconditioned and he sells them with a 6 month warranty.
well i live in alberta Canada and not much for selection up here but I do know of a 6x6 that from the one pic looks pretty good. what I am thinking is just drop a big truck camper at the very back of the deck and build a garage so to speak for my quad under where the top bed is on the camper. i'm guessing your lookin to buy a 6x6 sometime? lol just found your channel this morning and it's pretty cool. God Bless
What an awesome setup I’m so jealous! I’m looking at purchasing a 6x6 at the moment but it needs new head gaskets... it’s only 5k, do you think it’s worth it and fixing it or find another? How much did you pay for your 1078?
In one of my vlog build episodes I covered the registration process that I went through to create a "motorhome" registration in the state of Oregon for the Stewart and Stevenson trucks. It was a 4 month battle with the state and local offices to make it happen. Since I created this option 5 other LMTV owners that I know of have used this to register their LMTV as a motorhome. We pay 200 bucks every 2 years to register Abel vs a commercial registration which has weigh station restrictions and costs 600 bucks a year. They base the motorhome registration on overall length. The trailer has forever plates on it meaning that once I registered it I never have to pay another fee to keep it on the road. They issued a specialty plate for it and classify it as a utility trailer which in the state of Oregon requires no plate at all strangely enough.
@@SeanFillner That is a very good rate. In Texas where I am from it is based on GVW but I do not know how the RV status will reduce the cost of registration. The way they do trailers is also very friendly as in Texas you register it every year and it is also based on GVW. However, in Texas you can get it done in one day as long as you have the certified GVW information.
Sean Fillner wow, 8-12mpg? I know hills, wind etc affect the MPG, is it usually near the top or bottom of that range? That is not bad for such a big all wheel drive vehicle.

I am aware. I do not mind.
Some of those trucks also have a LoJack system2
I like the way the new trailer looks behind Able.
Hi Donnie. Me too. They are both great trailers and each serve their individual purpose...
Ohh you lucky dog.... I absolutely love this rig set up!!!! Im workin tooth n nail to one day owning somethin similar... Great video bud!!!
You stole that well done.
How much did you purchase it for?! KIDDING! Very cool find, keep up the awesome content!
I knew someone would ask anyhow LOL Thanks for watching!!

Alright Sean, we will be needing a video on your Garmin... that things just cool!
It's the newest one. The 785 dezlcam.

The axle sits waaaaaaayyyyyy too far back for that to happen on these...
Excellent find!!
Happy for you. Nice addition to the family. Will you name it Cain?
That's a cool idea....
Oh I'd love to get one of these when I can't afford one you make a hell of a lot of money with one of those trucks running for at least a year
Hi John! I have not found anything about these trucks to be expensive....YET... Thanks for watching!!

Was there a reason you drilled into the body of the trailer and not into the tailgate for your plate?
3/16" steel vs 1/8" aluminum. Go figure.
Very nice combo
Nobody likes the tan,but I love the tan!
i was wanting to get one but i just cant enjoy 4 to 5 mpg with the prices of gas now a days
We never bought him for "gas mileage". If you think of the price of a hotel room for a night, even a crappy one, it all starts to make sense...
2,700? Wow i love that trailer you got. looks great on the m1078 (abel). you should check out my military theme bicycle I've did this on my own
That trailer you owned was a m1082a1 love the trailer
do you ever wish you would have bought the 6x6 in stead of the 4x4 truck?
Why not have both? ;) Stay tuned......

Whether you like it or not, that trailer is now owned by the black cat. Once they touch it, it's theirs lol I speak from experience here.
it looks like the rear lower bar on the trailer may be reversible to give higher offroad clearance ?
Is a CDL required? Absolutely beautiful btw
You most likely have answered this question before, but here I'm asking it. Do you need a CDL to drive that truck and trailer?
No

How is the cost determined in Oregon for registration of Abel and the trailer? Is it based on value or GVW?

What size is the tank and do you track the fuel mileage?
58 gallon. 8-12 mpg.
