@user-ou7of6en1c in the comics symbiotes are vulnerable to sound and fire because when Knull, the god of symbiotes, created the first symbiote known as All-Black he shaped it into a sword. Using a severed celestial head and a hammer the heat from the celestial head and loud banging of the hammer shaped and molded it into a sword. The pain and fear that it caused the living sword was passed down to the rest of the species.
The reason they're vulnerable to lightning is because when Knull invaded earth in the ancient times Thor came down and brought down lightning upon a symbiote dragon that Knull was directly controlling which severed his connection to all other symbiotes and freed them from his control.

I enjoyed both of them. They aren't perfect no. But everyone lately seems to put new films through a series of events. First it comes out and everyone says it sucks and shames anyone who admits to watching it. #2 Then a few people secretly watch it and realize it's not that bad. #3someone admits on social media that they actually enjoyed the film. And finally at event #4, it becomes a cult classic sometimes or at least is widely cellebrated in being a good film. It happened to Both Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider films. It happened with Venom 1 already. And already I can see the turn around on Morbius beginning. So my question for everyone is, if you love the series, why do you sell out so fast by just jumping on a hate train? ROFLMAO = all of you = fake fans???

I'm sure the poeple who watch those movies (Warner or Disney) doesn't really like comic book, or what they like about them is very empty.
at most, i predict agent venom will be adapted next. but it'll be hard to capture tom hardy's eddie and venom dynamic. Flash Thompson is honestly empty without his fondness for Spider-Man.

Imma be honest…I really hate what they did with Venom’s voice after the first one. It sounds like Hardy trying to be goofy now. Also, it’s just a bad iteration of the character imo. It was nice to get our first live action venom flicks but now they need to do the characters of Brock and Venom much much better than this.
It sounds horrible!!!
Didn’t like the first one. Never understood how it made over 100m. Watched it over 3 days at home because couldn’t sit through it for more than 45 mins at a time. Still haven’t officially watched Venom 2 yet as I don’t want to support this. I got everything I needed from reactions and reviews. Do not plan to pay to see the third one.
