Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is proving himself to be a class act off the pitch as well as on it, and he is one of the game's genuine good guys. Rashford has managed to become one of the best players in the Premier League while also disproving the stereotype of a modern footballer.
Marcus Rashford has done more to combat child poverty in the UK than any politician has in the last 25 years, according to a councillor who believes the Manchester United forward should be awarded Freedom of the City. Rashford has gone head-to-head with the UK Government over the issue amid the Covid-19 pandemic. He raised over 20 Million Pounds!
Marcus Rashford brings food brand giants together to tackle child food poverty. Footballer Marcus Rashford has formed a taskforce with some of the UK's biggest food brands to try to help reduce child food poverty. The 22-year-old Manchester United forward successfully campaigned to extend free school meals this summer.
With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and Europa League. Rashford scored on his England debut in May 2016, becoming the youngest English player to score in his first senior international match.
