Gakku TV is the first music channel in Kazakhstan that exclusively airs content produced in Kazakhstan, promoting Kazakh music, culture, and patriotism. Dimash wrote “Unforgettable Day” himself as a teenager. Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert, during this 2017 live performance. It is his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but he also did a glissando and held it for ~5 seconds, even adding vibrato to it. It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for. During the performance, he made certain to erases any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance by moving his make quickly from side to side as he sang. The are very popular on CZcams and if you should do a few reaction videos on them, the will add a lot of members to your page. This odd about them, they are an A Capella group. Don't equate that with a Barber shop quartet type group from the 40's. A Capella today is quite its own genera. Here is a clip they did. It has over 550 million view and 5.1 million likes. Another great reaction. I really enjoy your channel. Dimash wrote “Unforgettable Day” himself when he was still a teenager. This was at the annual Gakku TV open-air concert, and there were approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. Gakku TV is the first music channel in Kazakhstan that exclusively airs content produced in Kazakhstan, promoting Kazakh music, culture, and patriotism. Dimash wrote “Unforgettable Day” himself as a teenager.
Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert, during this 2017 live performance. It is his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but he also did a glissando and held it for ~5 seconds, even adding vibrato to it.
It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for. During the performance, he made certain to erases any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance by moving his make quickly from side to side as he sang. Although, there are still the occasional trolls who claim that the note was pre-recorded or that it was an electronic glitch.
The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest note ever produced by a male as an E8. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts.
Dimash has sung many whistle notes in the 7th & 8th octave in other live performances, but the above is his highest note to date. Because of his incredible range, over seven octaves now, and his vocal flexibility, he is able to make the impossible look easy. Dimash is not only considered by many to be the best singer in the world, but he is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch he will always surprise you with something new.
There were 150 thousand people there at Gakku concert in Almaty, many had been waiting for Dimash’s performance for 7 hours.

HI Elishia, I have been listening to Dimash for awhile and he is bit off the charts , to say the least. He is really something. Many of the reactors who do Dimash, also do a group called Pentatonix. The are very popular on CZcams and if you should do a few reaction videos on them, the will add a lot of members to your page. This odd about them, they are an A Capella group. Don't equate that with a Barber shop quartet type group from the 40's. A Capella today is quite its own genera. Here is a clip they did. It has over 550 million view and 5.1 million likes. His whistle is like a real whistle blower sound, so loud and strong. Not a thin whistle like other female vocalists.
