Knitted Grocery Produce Bags- How To Knit A Market Bag

These grocery /market bags are eco-friendly and easy to make. They are also perfect as gift wrap or to carry your own yarn or baguettes out to a picnic. Make them in a jiffy with easy-to-open fasteners.
//// Instructions: Produce knitted bags
Short (16”) circular needles.
Use at least 4 sizes larger needles than what the yarn calls for.
(I used a #3 yarn and #11US (8mm) circular needles)
Cast on around 70 stitches any way you prefer. (Even number).
Knit in the round:
1 round of only knit.
Continue with yarn over, knit 2 stitches together
for as long as you want your bag to be.
Knit 2 rounds.
1 round of yo, k2tog.
Knit 2 rounds.
Pass a string or cord around the last set of eyelets and secure with a closure.
Sew together the bottom of the bag, folding it in half.
Weave n the ends.
