I owned and ran one of these machines for about 12 yrs. I could put so much wood on the ground with this machine. Thinning or clear cut was no problem! Was an absolute joy to run.

If you are using ether, try to remove the air filter and spray it in while it is cranking. It will help it suck in more ether.
Sometimes guys things just don't work out and its probably for the best of this one. That was a ton of blow by for that engine. I would do the same thing and try and find another replacement for the skidder. It all turned our at the end with a great blizzard from DQ. Y"all have a great and safe week and God bless.

Hey don’t worry that is probably the easiest engine to rebuild, I bought one that came out of a bread truck and the motor was full of water, had it bored, new pistons, bigger injectors, bigger turbo and she ran fabulous
That ain't a good feeling! but at least you can drop back and punt! all you lost was time and gas!

I havent seen too many people park equipment because they aint broken. Its a shame to scrap equipment out there because you know as well as i do theres somebody out there needing parts off that very machine

Hey Hey you don't have to remind us that you guys aren't professional mechanics But you do get a lot done with a pair of vice grips And the crescent wrench I gotta hand it to you You guys be careful with 24 volts to ground throws one hell of a spark and could cause a battery fumes to blow up in your face no joke

In this case, this video was shot probably 3 weeks before it was uploaded and probably 2 more weeks before it was released. So sometimes you just forget. Lol
