Being a masshole, living 7 miles from the stadium, & watching the thousands of amazing TB throws, has given me the biggest joys in my 41 years on planet earth. Fuck GOAT status, he's the best athlete in sports history
As of right now, I would limit it to American sports. However, if he wins his 8th, I agree that he'll be the greatest athlete in pro sports history, especially team sports. On a field with 22 other players, each player having a very specialized role, it's very hard for one player to rise above the rest. Tom has done that, and then some.
So I compared Brady's best throws with a video of Mahomes best throws so far. Obviously Tom has had more years to produce but he's still better anyway. His accuracy when throwing to covered receivers is just sick!
Watching this makes me want to cry 😭 what a blessing to have Brady quarterback our team for all those years. Now in 2023 more than ever I realize how lucky we were as fans, I don’t expect to see something like This again anytime soon. Thank you TB12 🫡

Yeah but rodgers is a different qb to appreciate. He's better in overall qb talent. Brady is the ultimate game manager/pocket thrower. Everything he throws is finesse, while rodgers can fit balls nobody else can.
That throw to randy moss at 11:43 was ridiculous. He threw over two defenders on a rope in stride. I can’t believe people don’t respect him as a QB. That’s one of the greatest throws I’ve ever seen. People who don’t play football don’t understand how hard it is to make that kind of throw
Brady only had moss for 3 years and he was injured one of those years. Gronk is also a tight end, and has consistently been injured. Those facts make it even more impressive
@@nickwright4079 pile on the fact that with limited playing time they all broke records. Randy with a full season is likely untouchable in TDs for the foreseeable future, while gronks first 50 and 100 TDs are likely going to stay the fastest to ever reach those marks.
I’m 2 minutes in and I can tell you mahomes still has a lot of work to do before he is seriously compared to the GOAT. I’m so glad that I get to witness another GOAT in the making. He’ll be everything Rodgers was supposed to be and more.
Mahomes actually admitted your point this offseason -- he said he has been actually studying Brady's career so that he can be more like him in the pocket and know where to go with the ball before the snap so that he doesn't have to rely on his feet as much. Mahomes is smart, he knows at some point, his mobility will diminish, so this is a part of his game he should be looking to improve. I'm more impressed with the fact he's thinking about that already and not 5 years from now. That said, it's easier said than done though, I don't think mobile QBs can help themselves in this era of football, so if he manages to play into his 40s at a high level, props to him, but he's going to get hit if he keeps using his legs to make plays.
I read this “Chicago Stars” series and yeap about football players and.. I’m in love with this man. Tom Brad is perfect. I’m gonna become a football fan
when you’re like 6ft 6 you don’t need a strong arm you can just loft it perfectly 50+ yards. if you play your offense good you don’t need a arm that can sling it 80 yards
I used to be a brady doubter in his earlier years. Grew to really appreciate him more and more as years went on. I honestly miss him and the nfl doesnt feel the same without him. His accuracy at times was so good it was scary.

He's 43 and with a new team and in the playoffs with the Bucs, who haven't been in the playoffs for 14 years in a season that had no spring training and no pre season games. They literally built timing and communication as the games went on, every game. I know I'm rambling but this is only a paragraph. I could write a book about all of his football life and never repeat myself one time in a book that could easily hit 512 pages
Unbelievable that people say he couldn't drive the ball down the field. Not saying he's a Mahomes, Marino, Rodgers arm strength but he could drive it down the field with such accuracy where only his guy could get it. Now he's more cerebral, takes what the defense gives him. People criticize him for that which is insane. That's part of what makes him great is knowing what he has and doesn't have on every play. Give me that guy over the guy with a strong arm and nothing between his ears any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
Tom is actually underrated as a pure passer. Before you jump down my throat let me explain. The narrative is that Tom is not that physically talented and makes up for it with his intangibles. Although his intangibles are unmatched, he is a tremendous thrower of the football. His throwing motion is flawless and consistent. His release is incredibly quick and he is as decisive as a qb has ever been. Tremendous velocity on throws that need to get there quickly combined with having outstanding touch to get the ball over the arms of defenders in tight coverage downfield. Combine all that with great footwork and pocket awareness you have the perfect qb. System we my ass people.
And people actually think he’s a system quarterback...
