"Little Queenie" I got lumps in my throat When I saw her comin' down the aisle I got the wiggles in my knees When she looked at me and sweetly smiled There she is again Standin' over by the record machine Looking like a model On the cover of a magazine She's too cute to be a minute over seventeen Meanwhile I was thinkin' If she's in the mood no need to break it I got the chance and I oughta take it If she can dance we can make it C'mon queenie let's shake it Go, little queenie Tell me who's the queen Meanwhile, I was still thinkin' If it's a slow song, we'll omit it If it's a rocker, then we'll get it And if it's good, she'll admit it C'mon queenie, let's get with it
Can't argue with that it's got everything. As we know Nicky H does not get enough credit or shout outs about his contributions and performances. Great period for the Stones. Play those guitars boys , excellent !
They compliment each other so well , in a way Ronnie and Keith just never seem to and I loved Ron in the Faces , but MT took on a difficult role ,and made it his own whereas Ron just joined his mate's group. It's remarkable we all still talk about 1969 to 74 and Mick's contribution to the Stones
Nicky Hopkins you say. Another great player that only a few will ever know existed. Along with Stu, we have lost two greats. I could kiss the guy running the mike/sound. Keeping the mike up on the rhytum guitar is genious. If that ain't driven the entire song, it just sucks.
You have obviously never listened to "Bye Bye Johnny" on the '72 tour (especially New York MSG) when they start duelling and Taylor just goes fucking mental and blows everyone else off stage, yes even Keith! All the best.
Yeah, the only person that I'm aware of, to embellish a Chuck Berry tune with improvised lead fills and it's possibly the best music I've ever heard in my life.
Lol - What's 'obvious' to ME, is that your Taylor-crush has gotten the better of you, broadband0118 ! Taylor blows no one offstage on the occasion you speak of. The Stones gave your boy his best years, and you want to talk shit. Tsk, tsk, lol. The Stones doing Bye Bye Johnny is straight up KEITH and HIS band. Taylor was decoration.
Yes, no doubt about it. You are right, Keith usually took the lead. It's a real shame that they have completely dropped all that Chuck Berry stuff from the live shows - they used to play it so great didn't they? They were never the same band after Taylor quit. All the best.
@@richardfweeler2939 I believe Taylor left as he wasn't being given the credit for his contributions to the writing , and they 'd already done Ronnie over with It's Only RockandRoll , so he at least knew the score
Okay okay, I am sure you are right in that case but, in this 1971 clip it is Keith all the way and it usually was Keith on most Chuck B. songs. That's all I'm saying? And I love Mick Taylor's playing probably more than Keith's. Peace & No worries?
I couldn't see myself" going out of my way to pay the kind of ticket prices they command now" especially to hear all the songs I've heard a million times. Come up with a couple of chart toppers and I'll make the effort.
Рок 🎸 ролл твист рокобилли буги вуги шейк навсегда здорово 👍
I was born in 71......almost 50.....the stones are still rock an rolling
I could listen to this 24 hours a day!
the greatest in rock n roll history
completely beautiful.
"Little Queenie"
I got lumps in my throat
When I saw her comin' down the aisle
I got the wiggles in my knees
When she looked at me and sweetly smiled
There she is again
Standin' over by the record machine
Looking like a model On the cover of a magazine
She's too cute to be a minute over seventeen
Meanwhile I was thinkin'
If she's in the mood no need to break it
I got the chance and I oughta take it
If she can dance we can make it
C'mon queenie let's shake it
Go, little queenie
Tell me who's the queen
Meanwhile, I was still thinkin'
If it's a slow song, we'll omit it
If it's a rocker, then we'll get it
And if it's good, she'll admit it
C'mon queenie, let's get with it

Tribute to Chuck Berry 🎸🎶
Just before heading off to the south of France...A Band that was in total control of itself at least as far as sound went.
La mejor banda de rock and roll de todos los tiempos Rolling Stones
The best version of Little Queenie by far!
Can't argue with that it's got everything. As we know Nicky H does not get enough credit or shout outs about his contributions and performances. Great period for the Stones. Play those guitars boys , excellent !
This and REO Speedwagon’s version a year later, 1972. You should hear that kick-ass piano in there.
REAL GOOD VERSION !!
great stuff. the intro is very cool.
REAL STONES
@stephenabelsr As you say, RAW, and magnificent. Particularly brilliant is Nicky Hopkins' piano. Plus Mick Taylor of course.
@@peterallen3610 Totally agree. I loved Ron in the Faces too, however MT was on a completely higher level with the Stones. A genius, pure and simple.
Esto es musica la the rolling stones, una magnifica version de chuck berry del titulo little queene
That was all Keith Richards soloing!

Stephen Abel Amen Brother!
They're making a movie about Nicky Hopkins

@@LinnVaveon Agree 100% Keef built the entire sandbox so Taylor could play in it.
Só o que falta o Taylor mandar qualquer coisa com Keith. Piada. Cada um no seu quadrado. Taylor fez bom trabalho. Só.
Fuckin brilliant
This shit needs a box set. Brussel's Affair is great, can't wait to hear that on 180 gram, but this... would be heavenly.

agree, Mick Taylor was the engine of the band
You can hardly tell when Keith and Taylor switch between rhythm and lead..but with Ronnie you can
Agreed
Taylor didn't have the grease and slime to stay with the Stones , he left get over it ......there still rocking ....
@@richardfweeler2939 I believe Taylor left as he wasn't being given the credit for his contributions to the writing , and they 'd already done Ronnie over with It's Only RockandRoll , so he at least knew the score

I wish they'd take some time and come up with an album as good as Tatoo you"
They been working on once since 2013 2014,and some tracks are finished just doing overdubs mixes etc..I heard this year be released

Where can I get a copy of this bootleg?
Just RAW, RAW, RAW, RAW and RAW. Like it should be played. Sorry, if you don't like this, then you need to go back to Neil Diamond.
At least Neil Diamond can sing...something sadly missing here.
Raw and sloppy good
@@Eric-kw2bv Yep, back to Neil Diamond with you.

Except Keith always, always plays the lead guitar on all Chuck Berry songs. Mick Taylor
is only playing rhythm.
I agree, but Some Girls ripped!
Keith Richards died for my sins!!!!!!!
Keif can never die and there are no sins in Rock n Roll.
