- What a beautiful night! The pageant lasted over 3 hours!! So we broke it down into 4 sections and this is part 1. Part 1 includes the opening acts (minus a couple that had copyright issues), introductions, and our favorite, Traditionally Inspired Wear dresses, which are amazing creations that showcase the great talent of the designers. Although it was a wonderful night, we were sad to see Miss Samoa Sonia Piva pass along the crown as we have come to know and love her, but her wonderful legacy lives on. We are also excited to get to know Miss Samoa New Zealand as she begins her reign.

🤦♂️ So dumb. I was so worried they weren’t gonna let me in w all my equipment so i took ONLY the camera. And then the memory card was full. So had to run back outside and grab it. Terrible timing!!

Trying to surprise my mom with a trip out to both American and western next year. Fingers crossed we get to try all of the amazingness you guys have shared with us. Alofas!
Just like me! I left AmSam when i was 5 and didn’t go back for a visit until i was 35! Would be awesome if you could bring her mom. Need to make it happen! And when you come, only spend a couple days in AmSam and the rest of your time in Upolu and Savaii (2-3 days). You’re gonna love it!

Weren’t they awesome?!! Was fun to see everyone work so hard. Tomorrow (if Alisha can finish editing it in time) is the dress and sarong part. Sooooo creative!! And then the talent portion on Friday, hopefully. That one is incredible!! These girls!! Wow!

Awww glad you like it! I was sad that i couldn’t bring the tripod in so it’s not as steady as i hoped. And then the screen was too bright in the dark room so i just used the viewfinder for 3 hours, lol! Thought my nose was gonna be permanently bent from pressing it against the camera for so long, haha!!

Live-streaming from here is really hard because we don’t have the bandwidth unfortunately. Less to do w equipment and more to do w internet unfortunately. That said, hopefully next year is incredible!

Whats Up Jamily TV. Sorry for being MIA from the channel for months. Ive been busy busy busy with work and apparently my subscription notifications for dis channel is not appearing at all( fixed it now). Anyways My mom is obsessed with the Teuila Festivities that you guys have been posting. I pass by the living room going straight to bed from work, she was watching ur channel on TV. Almost thought it was an Indonesian dance group due to the moves and headpieces in the beginning. So sad that Samoa is slowly becoming conformist and losing its traditional dancing and ways, how can you use culture wear to define Christianity?? How is yellow a Christian colour?? Beautiful girls but it really is a shame that Samoa is truly losing its real beauty. Prayers for Samoa ❤️
