Just in case you didn't go to the website for the Writer's Workshop the program is entirely scholarship based, meaning these graduate students have all expenses paid. If you get in, you've got a full scholarship for the duration. Pretty sweet. Get paid to write the next great American or South African novel while hanging out with talented people and going to hear some of the fantastic authors who come to town and read from their latest work. What's not to love?

would love to see financials for Iowa's Writers workshop. How is it funded & how many scholarships, is it to please donors by giving an intellectual artsy vibe to the US' No. & drinking school in a super red state where Iowa's industries & farming have been destroyed? So many questions. Can Marilynne Robinson write the collapse of farming due to neoliberal policies into the next Gilead novel?

You should take a remedial spelling and grammar course before posting such a blatantly biased and incredibly ignorant comment.
