Few people realize how sad Beethoven’s life was. He was going deaf, thinking about suicide, and could not maintain a relationship because of his anger outbursts he had due to the fact that his drunk father would often beat him and force him to play. Despite this, he became one of the greatest composers to live. Mad respect.

Not only was his music great but it also told a story. This man is one of the greatest musicians that has ever lived I do not believe that anybody will ever top him. This man-made music hundreds of years before his time and his legacy will never be forgotten.
When Beethoven passed away, he was buried in a churchyard. A couple days later, the town drunk was walking through the cemetery and heard some strange noise coming from the area where Beethoven was buried. Terrified, the drunk ran and got the priest to come and listen to it. The priest bent close to the grave and heard some faint, unrecognizable music coming from the grave. Frightened, the priest ran and got the town magistrate. When the magistrate arrived, he bent his ear to the grave, listened for a moment, and said, "Ah, yes, that's Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, being played backwards." He listened a while longer, and said, "There's the Eighth Symphony, and it's backwards, too. Most puzzling." So the magistrate kept listening; "There's the Seventh... the Sixth... the Fifth..." Suddenly the realization of what was happening dawned on the magistrate; he stood up and announced to the crowd that had gathered in the cemetery, "My fellow citizens, there's nothing to worry about. It's just Beethoven decomposing." #copied

Fun fact, that dun dun dun dun thing was said to be the knocking of fate. Similarly, this symphony was composed around the time he started going deaf and, according to a letter he wrote around the time, starting to contemplate suicide. The first movement is in a minor key, symbolizing his dark/depressed mentality, and the final movement is in the same key, but in major, symbolizing how he used his own music to pull himself out. Whenever I think of Beethoven I appreciate my ears more and my ability to hear the world around me, especially music. Being able to hear is something most people take for granted even though it is a beautiful gift.
My mother has recently lost much of her hearing. I can no longer share music with her because she cannot hear all the notes and tones. She said it doesn't sound good anymore. This really breaks my heart as my mother always loved to sing. So you're 100% correct. We all take our hearing for granted until it is too late.

Douglas Steele judging from your answer to David dava data you clearly aren't half the man your dad was.
don't stand in judgement of me or anybody else bob or you will have to get down on your knees and answer to god when you die.
Douglas Steele You aren't half the man your dad was if you treat other people like this. He just stated his opinion and didn't intend to hurt your feelings. You are a horrible person.

@Quetixio It is Earth's national anthem for when the aliens come.
Quetixio right?
What about the Facebook messenger sound?
In the form of a question, please
I bet this is perfect and magical symphony.Practice makes perfect.
Thank you Sir Beethoven to give it to the world forever.
❤
This is my favourite Beethoven's song.❤
Was this guy on American idol he’s pretty good.
He was in _Deutschland sucht den Superstar._
The same show licensed to Germany. Or well, I think the show was called _Heiliges Römisches Reich sucht den Superstar_ back in those days.
he was from germany
*facepalm*
Rock makes me feel badass.
Jazz takes me back in time.
Pop makes me feel energized.
But classical reveals the secrets of the universe.

I will come back here after 50 years old of post of this video.
I remember when I was a child, a la prairie perdue d'arche, my mother just announced me that my father. died jumping upstairs. when I came back to my spirits, I just listened to this banger all over and over again. And I am not gonna lie, this song gave me hope. Hope for a futur. a Futur without stairs nor father, but a futur with my cupidity of not being aware of my father's feelings. I wish -with this song- to be a better human being. thank you betoven. love you
Miss the days where a homie would say “Aux me I got the new Beethoven”

Whenever I think of Beethoven I appreciate my ears more and my ability to hear the world around me, especially music. Being able to hear is something most people take for granted even though it is a beautiful gift.
too true
Amazed how he could still make such music just by feeling it
And sex gives the best feeling of them all. Wish I could get more of it though.
My mother has recently lost much of her hearing. I can no longer share music with her because she cannot hear all the notes and tones. She said it doesn't sound good anymore. This really breaks my heart as my mother always loved to sing. So you're 100% correct. We all take our hearing for granted until it is too late.

+Carolyn Wilkerson I was bored one day so I decided to read up his Wiki page. It seems that (though I'm not sure if it's true) he lost his hearing because of a fit of rage due to someone interrupting his work. Reading your comment and connecting it to that made me laugh.
