Today, we show you how to create an ethereal fantasy composite of jellyfish in a night sky. Learn to combine multiple images with Blending Modes and Layer Masks, and then bring a composite together with creative color toning and grain.
Aaron had a lot of fun making a composite for CZcams again! Let us know in the comments if you'd like to see more.

My photoshop professor is the complete opposite of you, he insists that we follow his directions written down instead of showing us how to do what he wants out of us. Thank you for ACTUALLY teaching us!
This episode was great!
I'm not planning to put jellyfish in the sky but it was really nice to see all the small tips in a greater context. More of this kind please 😃
You are the Bob Ross of Potatoshop. I've learnt a lot and been entertained. That's a rare thing. Thanks.
Potato shop! Hhahaha
@@Rsaulus Im still laughing at this 2 year later
Potatoshop!
Please do more step by step tutorials like this! I learned so much and it really helps to learn things like masking when I can see the effect in context. Phlearn tutorials really are the best I've found for Photoshop. Aaron has a great way of explaining things and doesn't go too fast (a common complaint of CZcams tutorials).
Thanks Aaron for this helpful compositing tutorial that reinforced the importance of using blend modes to not only create an interesting image but to make these multiple images blend together so well. I also like how you used a color gradient to add cohesiveness to the entire composite. Thanks!
Had so much fun doing this one....would appreciate more of these. Thanks!
This channel should have more subs, really appreciate your content, thank you sir.

Hey there. Great tutorial. Quick question. What is the stylis and pad you use with your editing? Thanks. Marty

What kind of desk chair do you use?
Do more of these, please!
good stuff, thank you
Well done. Had to subscribe
how do you use the brush tool at the beginning without getting rid of the tendrils? is there a brush setting you're using?
you make so quality videos, do it in 4k please!
I love this! Super helpful. How would you make it look right if you wanted one of the jellyfish to come in front of the trees?
You'd probably have a separate layer of that one jellyfish below the layer that puts them behind the trees, so it's not affected by that layer.
Great tutorial - well explained, clear shortcuts, and not presented at a million words per second 😂
My regular lasso won’t keep a straight line. It puts a “hole” in it. How do I fix that?
Thank you
Awesome
Thank you very much. I can't believe i am taking this great lesson for free. When i will available, i would love to buy your courses and support you. Thank you
Great tutorial.blending different photos are very difficult.
That was awesome! Quick question ...If you wanted to make a poster out of your picture that you just created, what pixels would you suggest using for all of your layers, so that when you are complete, all of your blended layers didn't look grainy?
THANKSSS
i loved it ,,thank you ..
i just did it too
question when imported my jelly fish its treating it like a smart object. so i have to unlink my mask when i go to distort and than repaint it if you over laps. not whining about but it didnt seem like you had to do that. so my question is am i importing it wrong or is there a convert i should do?
Luv you GUYS..!😘
Wow
This is soo good..
If you make poster or social media marketing designs or designs for different items or other real time projects of yours, then it is more effective for people on youtube
👍
Fun video. RUN! The jellyfish are coming!
