To our beautiful grandmother, Blia Xiong Lee.
As I worked on recording this song, this song and the meaning helped me with my grieving process after my grandmother's passing. It symbolizes the pain that I felt and still feel while helping me come to terms with the fact that my grandmother is now gone but in a better place. After two years of battling lymphoma cancer, my grandma earned her angel wings to look after us from above.
I wish that I would have been able to share this song with her and for her to hear it because she was always one of my biggest supporters when it came to me singing. I would like to think that with all of you who do hear me singing this song, it is a symbol that she does hear it and she is still here.
Please feel free to use this song in your loved-ones slides (as my grandmother would also say) as it helped myself and my family during our hard time.
