Subscribe for full content! / @tntropics Trachycarpus fortunei grows best in clay soil and prefers lots of water in summer. See how much your palm can grow over the years if taken care of.
Trachycarpus love your summers back east! You obviously give them everything the need to succeed. That one by the brick wall is a rocket! Which Sabal is in front and to the right of that Trachy?

That’s one healthy palm!
Well done video. Must easier to get an idea of the growth with the markers and documentation.
Very informative, thanks
Very good video. Nice palms
thanks!
Looks good!
Nice inspiring video. I have a south facing location protected from noth and West winds for zone 6. Yes, will try Windmill palm.
It will need protection most years
A great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Hi from Scotland, I've just planted a few trachy fortuneis the same as the small one you have so good to know how quickly it will grow

Thanks. A birmingham about the same age as the Trachycarpus @3:37
Nice!! I didn’t know they grow that fast. I thought they grow 6-8” every year.
Nope. I’m in Cymru U.K. and mine have grown around 1 to 1.5 ft a year if not more, but no less.
Are you gonna keep the one against the house or eventually move it? It seems to be taking off 🚀🚀🚀 and the roof might become a issue in the future?
It's missing the house roofline.
@@tntropics oh ok thank you! I get my Palms put in today 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❗️
