Hello everyone, my name is AJ. I'm starting the turning journey on my 2015 Honda Fit EX. The ultimate goal is AWD Kswap , but for now just eliminating fault lights.
Hi, I had the same exact problem, the alternator was fine, as well the belt. I just changed the baterry a few weeks ago, and the baterry sensor was all right. So my only chances were that the poles were losen (they weren´t) or a fuse. The thing is that I saw a video where the horn fuse was causing the chech charge system to pop, so I notice that in my case, the battery sensor was bad. So I changed it and problem solved. (It is located in the fuse box right behind the battery). Hope I can help, and good vibes from México.
I got the same error a few days after getting my used 2015 Fit. It didn't affect anything on the car though. Today I replaced my original 151r battery and installed a bigger 51r, the code is no longer there. IDK if it will come back but I drove like 30 miles today and it's doing just fine.
I was finally able to fix it. In my case it was the alternator. Just make sure that when you buy a new one, they test it before you walk out the door with it. Advance sold me 2 bad alternators, the 3rd one after testing it finally passed. After getting it installed the message finally disappeared.
I went through this with my fit at 100k miles. The dealership struggled to fix it and it was pretty expensive for me at the end of the day. They did the following: 1) changed the battery 2) changed the alternator 3) changed the wire harness When that didn’t work then last thing to change was the ECM. They had to buy a used one from a junkyard and re-flash it but that fixed the issue for about 60k miles. It eventually came back so at this point I’ve left it and have been driving the car for about 40k miles with the check charge system light on.
I have a 2014 Acura that is having this problem. I called Honda and the highway NHTSA and put in a claim because the light came on and the car cut off on me on the highway 😢
Mine civir charging is intermittent normally 13.3v charging but 12V and falling. Battery change found fault persisted. Sensor seem ok. Will check wiring to it
I'm having this issue for about 6 months and I have tried everything but the ecm. I just want to get it fixed and sell the dam thing (I don't have the heart to sell it with this problem), and probably think hard before I buy another Honda.
I understand. The check charge system light never affected any function of the car and even after Kswapping including ECM swap, the issue is still there.

so, the battery sensor was good or bad? 1st you say it was good, then you say it was bad...

I've changed the battery. The alternator and the battery charge sensor and no improvements. Just going to swap out the whole drive train
Tell me more about this AWD K-swap Fit. Are you gearing up for war with the never-hitting-the-US-shores Toyota Yaris GR
I'm just in love with my Fit and want her to have a little more power. going to the track eventually.
K swap complete. Check out the latest video. Now on to AWD
check your horn/hazzard/lights turn fuse last time i got the same issue,.
Thank you but I've checked all that

Any updates? Having the same issue on my 2015 Fit.
No sir, I even took it to the dealership for diagnostics. 180 bucks for nothing. They could not locate the issue.
