I don‘ t understand it. Naphtalin is toxic for people and the environment.
The idea with coffee and orange is great. But I think may be you find a different third part which is non toxic?
Poisoning from naphthalene destroys or changes red blood cells so they cannot carry oxygen. This can cause organ damage.
Natural camphor 20 g ...surround with bishop weed seeds and wrap in a handkerchief...can be hung or tied.
Camphor will sublimate but the bishops weed can be reused...

Mothballs/naphthalene balls MUST be used in an airtight space, such as a garment bag or well-sealed container. Never place mothballs in an open closet or plastic garbage bag. Once vapors enter the home, their odor can persist for a long time.

These idiots in other countries do the most and I mean literally the most dangerous stuff as if it’s no big deal. I remember watching a video where I think in Cuba or some Hispanic country where they had the electronic warmers that you put under the sink so your water is hotter faster. Well they had those hooked up to the shower heads. Live wires exposed as a jet stream of water hits you continuously. No thank you.

justement je me demandais si ce n' était pas un peu dangereux de respirer des vapeurs de naphtaline ? d'autre part, je me demande comment la mèche peut bruler pendant un moment sans s'éteindre, dans la vidéo on voit que ça s'éteint très vite ..... je ne suis pas convaincue.

Not only do they smell horrible, but they are very toxic to breathe in, great idea if you eliminate the mothballs, unless you want to get headaches all the time.

Contra la MOSCA de la fruta necesitas poner HIELO en el fregadero (durante una semana, aprox), pues ahí ponen sus huevos.
La naftalina no debe ser inhalada. Es peligrosa. Esta receta no es recomendada. O solo usen el café y clavo, pero no la naftalina

Надеюсь, что кофе и апельсин нейтрализубт запах нафталина. Тогда это очень хороший рецепт, ведь нафталина ещё наши бабушки клали на полки шкафов, чтобы отогнать насекомых, особенно моль от одежды. Сейчас кладут лаванду. Надо поэкспериментировать с этим рецептом, ведь нафталин это химия и когда он будет вдыхаться с воздухом, неизвестно как это отразится на здоровье домашних :людей и питомцев. Может можно его заменить лавандой травой или эфирным маслом. Надо поэкспериментировать. Спасибо.
"Свеча" без воска -- что там горит? Фитиль сгорит быстро, наверно, минут за 10. И что? В чём цимес?

Saw a similar idea recently only using ground coffee. The man said it has been in his family for centuries to ward off mosquitoes outdoors. He explained a process in which basically the ground coffee burns very slowly. It is the smoke/smell that deters the mosquitoes. However certainly would never do that Indoors!

Lo que hace efecto es el humo que larga una vez que se apaga la mecha, y la naftalina no es tóxica para los humanos, si para las polillas y otros bichos.
@@Analus100 si es tóxica para los humanos, por eso tiene recomendaciones de uso en las etiquetas, en las q no hay que tocarla, inhalar la, etc. Al estar entre capada de café tal vez se libere muy poco y eso eliminé el riesgo
@@alejandradigiacomo680 Pero eso es si la ingeris o estás expuesto a grandes cantidades de la misma, pero usar dos o tres bolitas en una bolsa o colocar una en un recipiente, y te lavas las manos después, no pasa nada, siempre uso naftalina para las polillas, las coloco en cajones o las cuelgo en bolsas de tela y con eso evito que las polillas dañen la ropa, jamás tuve problemas de salud.
