Most people don't realize those JBLs sound so good is because they are being driven by classic tube gear including Marantz preamp. Altogether they make magic but If one link in the chain isn't just so, the magic is lost.
I wanted those L300's so badly back in the day!😢 I ended up purchasing the L112's, which as of this date I have re-foamed the woofers twice since owning them.
I like your JBLs and also your tea ceremony setup with Yixing teaware (I think... unusual color if so, not the traditional "purple" zisha). Takes me back to my many treasured China visits!

JBL L300 is the best ..... because will not getting tired with the long hours (3-5) also can match with many kind of amplifier. JBL 4425 studio Monitor very good too , every things must originals
L300 easy to match any amplifier.... with old school sound like 1980 to 1990 . My combo power amplifier: Krell kst-100 , preamp Marantz 7t . ( the secret: you need to make the speaker-stands ..... 10” to 15”)

You know, the original JBL l300 come with glass top of each speaker . I just put the jbl stickers on the glass .( if you don’t have the glass top , can buy at the glass-shop your local.

L300's are my dream speaker, I hope I can find some one day. I'm currently running the L65 Jubals and they are pretty kickass.
