thanks for watching, and please take a minute to let me know what you struggle to find time to do. Pray? Take care of yourself? Connect with your husband? Let me know!

I have to make notes of what I want to get done in a day. If I don't, I will always miss something such as not praying the rosary or making important appointments.

This is something I have been trying to achieve in my life. I feel like I am always doing all day long and not accomplishing anything. I feel frustrated and my anxiety is constantly going up and down. I am trying to establish a time during the day where I can pray and set up a routine for stuff just for me. I don't know where the road block comes in to get started though. I do think this is something I really need.

Thanks for the video Nancy. I lean more toward type A. I have my own form of the daily docket that I do, I've read a Mother's Rule of Life a few years ago and have applied her concept to my day - creating a "routine" based on the natural flow of my day (which feels like I have to revise it every couple months as kids enter new phases!), but what I struggle with is when something doesn't go according to plan. For example, the baby only takes half of a nap. Then, what I planned to do during that time has to get shifted to another time or skipped and it throws me off and I get into the cycle of cutting out the self-care because it feels like the easiest thing to cut, but then we all know, that makes everything else unravel!

It’s just so hard when you have little ones! I have 9 kids. Most go to school, then I’m home with my 2 4 and 4 month old girls. The 4 y.o. Has special needs. I can’t even get up early enough to write on the docket. My baby won’t sleep on her own during the day, she’s held all day long. Sorry, I know I sound like a whiner. I’m type A, love schedules, but with all these kiddos (that I absolutely adore!) is almost impossible!
