Even with a neurological deficit that you have to work around, you still play circles around your contemporaries. It's crazy. And not just in technique, but in, I guess for lack of a better term, the "feel" of the music too. Highly technical guitar that doesn't sound like masturbatory noodling is a godsend to listeners everywhere. Thank you for all the joy you provide us fans, sir.

I have been depressed and honestly put my guitar away for a really long time after suffering this disorder. I can’t play past 2 mins if I’m making a guitar cover and it always pisses me off as my fingers get curled up especially some parts when stretch is needed. Thanks for motivation Chris. Will try out this gloves hopefully it helps for me.

I've been so depressed about it and feel like I may lose part of myself if I can't play guitar anymore. Then I came across your channel and noticed your wearing a glove AND you are also an amazing player WITH the glove on which make's me feel soooo much better about being able to continue playing guitar. Just discovered your various projects/bands tonight and I am blown away. I'm especially impressed with how much you are able to minimize your movements. I have been working on this a lot recently, partly because I suffer from a connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which heavily increases the risk of overuse injuries in my muscles. Did you specifically work on minimizing movement to combat the issues you've had? You are a massive inspiration and I will be watching your playthroughs to better my own playing (as well as to hear some awesome tunes). I teach music for a living and I hope that someday I can inspire musicians at the level you do.
P.S. Have you tried a Strandberg guitar? I'd be curious to hear if you think the neck profile assists your playing in any way. I switched to Strandbergs after playing mostly Jackson and Ibanez and I feel it lets me play comfortably for longer periods.
