Gator fan here, knew from how OSU played against us that OSU was a top 15 team (perhaps was an underestimate). Liddell is a MONSTER and their defense is ferocious. Have fun Buckeyes fans, it'll be a wildly fun season.
Could easily see these two teams rematching in the sweet 16 as a 2 & 3 seed. UF may be the best in the SEC this season.

As a neutral fan that just watched for fun, I don't feel OSU can duplicate that result. They are a very good team but I don't believe they are as complete as duke. Either way I'm sure taking down number 1 will give them a load of confidence moving forward. Good game!

I have never seen so much print, even for ESPN standards, on why a team, ranked 10 preseason, LOST A GAME! ( see 'Ohio State defeats No. 1 Duke' at ESPN). And I actually like Duke this year.
ESPN can’t stand it when their golden ACC/SEC teams lose to Ohio State.. and especially when Ohio State wasn’t expected to win. ESPN has had it in for us ever since we beat Miami in 03.

As a UNC fan, this is one of many reasons why people hate Duke. Gonzaga was a great win, but to vault to number one over teams like Purdue and Baylor just shows bias that they clearly do not deserve. Maybe as their younger guys get more experience they will develop into a number one team, but they clearly did not deserve this.

Barely beat Gonzaga which they should have lost and then gets beat by OSU. duke is not deep at all and it shows. You can't have 6 players and expect to go deep in any stretch. Specially the tourney. Again I don't care about a few point being shaved off here and there as long as we end up with the wind they did this with Zion they've done this a few years now with some of our teams that could have went undefeated and cut down the Nets it's ridiculous I'll still never get the Gonzaga lost out of my mind when we had RJ Barrett and Zion and RJ basically crippled with his head down into four players three times in a row Zion didn't even get a touch on the ball and we lost to Gonzaga I truly believe that if we had beacon xaga in that that year we would have ran the table and went undefeated I've seen do teams lose and then I say to myself that's the last time to go to boost and then they end up running the table and winning usually towards the end of the season and it usually is against like a North Carolina or something either during the regular season or ACC play but I've seen this happen a couple times where they basically lose and then they just run the table and win it I do I really seriously believe that they could do that again there's a very good possibility that they never lose another game they're getting Tighter and Tighter as a team and as I as off as all these players learn the roles and continue to be unselfish and make extra passes move the ball keep their hand up very important that mr. Williams keeps his hands up thousand no fouls at least keep your hands up hands down man down right the team can easily run the table and never lose another game cut down the Nets on Monday in April and have something to really celebrate with Coach K that's if the season isn't cancelled because of covid

Look at the rest of Duke schedule I don't think anybody on there is actually right I'm not saying they're bad teams I'm just saying I don't think any of the teams we have coming up a rank normally UNC and Virginia Tech use of the ACC is very stack even the out-of-conference games are against teams that aren't even ranked I know that it really doesn't matter because it's not marked yet and rankings don't matter as we learn tonight here against Ohio State and a hostile environment however these old men could not get up and down the floor with these young boys these young men okay let's just call for what it is these sixty-year-old refs cannot get up and down the court just like what drivers licenses I think that these rested have to take physical exams every year and there should be like an age limit or something cuz these guys are gone blind they've got arthritis and all of their joints they can't get up and down the court with these specimens who are going to be playing in the NBA next year

Refs rigged a comeback to get a close game for ratings but didn’t realize Duke can’t shoot lol. They called too many bs fouls on their centers and Duke couldn’t score at all down the stretch lmao. Duke controlled that game, the zags turned the ball over a billion times and had to foul in transition a lot. Duke was up 15 in this one till the refs decided to foul out their two centers, callin fouls if they so much as laid a finger on a guy.
Remember that Ohio State was actually favored by the spread by 2 points! This isn't college football. Upsets happen very often in college basketball! Home court advantage means a lot!
