This is definitely a beautiful piece of art! Whether or not someone finds it their own personal style is not the point. What some find stylish for their homes, others may not. We all have different tastes. This took an incredible amount of talent and creativity to build. Its not only about being great with woodworking but also the imagination he put into the piece. That is what makes it priceless and amazing.
Although this may not be to everyone's taste, You gotta admit this guy is one Hellva talented artist!

The seahorses looked amazing just on wood.
I loved them just natural but understand why he put the gold on! (Because epoxy, metal fish scales, river rocks with jewelry and epoxy, red velvet and faux alligator skin isn't enough! LOL) Very taste specific.

I think his whole point is to be over the top though. He doesn’t want to make normal, modern furniture pieces. They want them to stand out and be unique. They want it to be “too much”...

Your workmanship is absolutely amazing; congratulations on that. I don't like this design, but most of the pieces separately are exquisitely made. I would have really loved the top if it just had the rocks without the fake bedazzling. You're a very clever guy.

Yeah, the design seemed kind of tacky? And he really should have committed on doing either both sides ocean or both scales. I like the concept but not how he chose to depict it.

интересный прием с фанерой,коньки огонь!правда в дереве они эффектней.также столешка с цветной дверью супер,остальное на вкус и цвет

His skill is amazing! Loved the separate elements of the piece. Together it is a bit much for my taste, but again that is my taste. I was amazed at the beauty and skill of each separate section of the piece. The sea horses were beautiful. Loved the dragon scales. The epoxy painting on the one door loved it. Amazing skill.
These are one of a kind pieces, I believe that is his goal here. I have seen some ugly art hanging in museums and people pay millions to buy them and hang them in their home, you know why? Because they are one of a kind, they are different just like his art!!!! I think this guy is amazing at what he does, I wish I had half his talent!!!

При минимуме инструменте,отличная работа,не смотря на шедевр и оригинальность каждой детали,все же общая картинка на любителя....
Stunning creation!!! I was loving the seahorses until he covered them in white. I liked the depth and character of the wood sculpting he did. However the gold foil he applied was awe inspiring! While he was working, I was having trouble envisioning what it would look like all assembled. WOW!!! What a beautiful credenza!!

Nick Terrell I agree. Although I think it would be exceptionally beautiful if he’d just went with the seascape design and not added the metal scales and changed that red to a tan/sand color. All in all, the craftsmanship was incredible, I really liked watching the construction of this piece.

Anyone who has the patience to draw, cut and sand all those little pieces of aluminum and draw perfect lines freehand deserves many thumbs up for that alone! Not my style (although I'd love that top as a bathroom counter) but it's a magnificent, skillful, unique work of art.

В процессе, кстати, видна красота дерева. Я понимаю, что в данном изделии таков концепт, что дерева не должно быть видно, но наверняка, такой мастер изготавливает и красоту, где видна и структурам дерева. Коньки были прекрасны после выпиливания. Кстати, а достаточно ли они прочные, чтобы выдерживать такую тяжёлую конструкцию с металлом и камнями?

Absolutely. Blown. AWAY!!! This is so BEAUTIFUL! I had three different ideas as this was being built. First I thought this was going dragon inspired, then I thought knight inspired, and when I saw the top being made, it dawned that this was mermaid/beach inspired! The way I just giddily smile during the process is another reason I love your channel so much! Thank you all for bringing such joy with your creations❤❤❤❤

That's a lot of work. He has a lot of creativity and imagination. I'm not a huge fan of the style but it wasn't made for me.
I don't like the final cupboard (especially the faux red fur) but I love most of the pieces. The aluminum "scale" is the best.

Здравствуйте. Я обычно не пишу комментарии, но тут, не смог удержаться. Смотрю давно, слежу... Понял что тут не только любить сове дело, уметь на высоте работать инструментами, но и сила воли. Когда я видел что он нарезал алюминий на кусочки в 0.57 то я не мог просто поверить что он реально намерен это сделать))). Правильно говорят если хочешь успеха, то делай то что другие не могут, не хотят и не знают. Удачи Вам!!! А ещё, я читаю комментарии и просто поражаюсь от фантазии настоящего русского народа, браво. Brilliant work. Love the contrast of the two front doors. The end results of the Seahorses are great. I suspect if the Seahorses were made out of solid maple and finished in wax or a varnish they would be extremely beautiful for another project. 😍

I know what you are trying to say and as someone who does similar work but with rings, I sometimes cringe at what customers ask me to make but the bottom line is if the customer is willing to pay the price, I'll be happy to do my very best at making for them what's in their mind. The craftsman who did the work did a phenomenal job and has wonderful tallent. It was just the final project that as you stated and I'd agree, isn't of my taste but maybe this is due to what is popular in a different region or people? No disrespect to the artist but when I saw the end result especially with all the red velvet my first thought was it was something made for a brothel.

I would love a website with a gallery of the pieces represented to peruse at leisure. Seeing the final thing on a fast moving video is not enough. It would also be lovely to know the history - it's inception, design process and perhaps it's intended use or the client's home. Perhaps a magazine? Fabulous work you do in all respects.
