just purchased a PowerLab6 and have many batteries to charge. The book was overwhelming. (Even though I have a Master is Systems Engineering) and I lack the time to read before the flight date.
Your video and explanation were perfect. I am charging and now can be reading while my first set charges. Thanks for taking the time to be direct, simple, and informative.

Thanks for posting this. I know I'm late to the party but I just got one of these chargers. As a safety precaution since it's a used charger, should I go into the menus and double-check the Lipo charge termination voltage has not been changed from 4.20 volts per cell.... or is this a default value ? And how would I navigate the menus to do this ? Thank you.

Just wanted to ask - what happens if I continue charging using FMA setting with this MPA board?
Sometimes my lipos charge with FMA setting rather than EX/EH setting.

How do you reset it to factory settings?

I just got a PL 8. A bit confused as to what mode to charge with. I have several parallel boards for charging my 6 cell, 5,000's that I got from progressive rc. I assume that would not be set to fMA mode. Right ? I should use XH wiring mode. Right ? My PL 8 came with a ballance board that I assume is fMA mode. Can I come off of that fMA board with my XH parallel board and leave the charger in fMA mode ? Thanks

so does charging via the MPA board only allowed for batteries of the same cell count and same mah capacity?
