Hi denitslava just a tip for the lemon candy ❤
Put water in a pan then sugar heat up for 4 minutes on low heat
Then get some ice water
After four minutes turn off the stove and grab your sliced lemons dip them in the melted sugar make sure the lemon is fully covered then dunk into ice water

As a Polish person, you should give the polish strawberry pasta a try. Instead of sour cream, you could use yoghurt. Just mash it up and put it on some pasta - it'll be sweet without the salty 😉

Hey Deni! If you ever want to try the lemons again, here's a tip! The main thing that went wrong was you had the temperature too high, and it caramelized too quickly: so instead of having a hard clear shell, you got super sticky caramel.
To fix that, try it again at a lower temperature- it might take longer, but it'll be worth it! And a test to make sure it's done: You should be able to dip a toothpick in the syrup, then dip it in some cool water, and it should *immediately* develop a hard candy texture. If you decide to try it again, I hope this helps!
You can also just cook the sugar mixture by itself, and then dip fruit in it once it's at the right stage to make 'tanghulu!' It's not real tanghulu, but it's a similar recipe that tastes really yummy :]

Also, avoid stirring the sugar, or putting spoons or tongs in repeatedly, as the sugar on the spoon will contaminate the simple syrup forming

I love beetroot. As an Australian, it’s not so surprising. Yet I’ve mostly limited my beetroot to on a burger, in a salad or maaaaybe in a tart, but never tried it on pasta. Sounds good.

For the candied lemon recipe you need to put in 1 cup of water and 1/2 a cup of sugar but don’t put the lemons in straight away once the sugar-water in bubbling you dip the lemons in then straight after put them in a ice bath
