Wow, that drivers side mount is really something to change. I just finished doing my passenger side and front mount. I guess I will settle in for several hours to complete the drivers side. This was a great video! The engine bay on this car was so clean. That impressed me as well. Thank you for the video, you do good work.
Thank you! I have the same solid front mount as you and had not found any great guides on replacing it. There are no excuses for my new mount to sit on the shelf anymore!
Thanks so much for posting this video, I have been trying to find out how the right side was replaced and got conflicting methods from some SAAB forums, your video explains it so well. I doubt I would have the patience to attempt the left side. Thanks again for sharing this.
Ahhh... So there you are.... Og takk for sist @ Saab festival 2022... Yes, the left one was a PITA, but realy worth the job... ;) Right now when writing, next video is on it's way out.😀
Phew, luckily I "only" have to remove the entire engine from the car, that left engine mount is a pain in the bottom to remove if you keep the engine in 🤯
Did you Jack the engine up in the same Way for all the mounts? With the Jack underneath and a piece of Wood under the engine (is it called engine block?) where it says SAAB 16 VALVE ?

For the front mount and the left side mount, I just put a piece of wood on top of the jack and jacked up under the gear box.
