If you can verify the belt is not Whiting and Davis, I would remake it too. Would make nice jewelry. I am with you on the cuff bracelet. It is beautiful, but I think it would look better on a tiny wrist. Congratulations on the Avery ring. It is exciting to find a treasure…. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Pam! I would vote not to take apart the belt- seems like a very desirable piece and it’s already in great condition. Like Dana said, I’ve also found a mesh keychain that’s Whiting and Davis and there was only a paper tag, no markings. I love the filigree ring! Wow congrats on the James Avery ring! I’ve never found a piece. What a statement that cuff!
Thanks Hannah. I’m going to do some more research on the belt before I decide. The Avery ring was a first for me. Loved your video on the spring brooches: jewelry. My favorite was the pink BSK brooch that looks like a spider web. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I would vote for leaving the belt as it is. It is a shame to break up / remake undamaged items. Could you not wear it as a necklace as it is, looped around a couple of times? How would that look?
I think because a lot of the older pieces are collectible now that he’s passed away. The early pieces he did were handmade. I don’t own any of his pieces, other than the one ring I found thrifting. I think it’s like anything else, you either like that style or you don’t. Thank you for watching ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful pieces! Thanks for sharing😊
Thank you so much for watching ❤️❤️❤️
Great quality items, I remember those belts from my childhood, very 60's
It’s an awesome belt. I am still trying to research who the maker is. ❤️❤️🥰🥰
The bracelet is beautiful ❤. It looks fine.
Oh thank you!🥰🥰🥰
Stunning bracelet! A snug fit for that style is good. It looks beautiful. Keep it, wear it and enjoy it, would be my advice.
Good advice thank you 😊 ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Teresa! I agree with the cuff. I’m still researching the belt. Have a wonderful weekend ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I suppose that wouldn’t look bad at all. Excellent advice! Your right it would be a shame to damage it❤️❤️🥰🥰
Leave the belt as is.
I agree that I most likely will. I’m very curious about it though. I’m still researching it. Thank you for watching ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Am I missing something? I just don't get why James Avery is so desirable and so expensive. The jewelry doesn't seem special.
