There's a behind the scenes video of them filming this MV and it's not CGI. It was filmed in winter and it was a cold, partly snowing, partly raining day and they said the explosion gave them much appreciated warmth.
That was intense!
There is a scene where Saiki sings in front of the flames and her breath becomes white.

A tongue-in-cheek interpretation of the video - the Jaguar and Caddy are the British and American music industries shaking each other to pieces as they race into the future... only to leave a Japanese woman shredding atop their wreckage. A Warning indeed ;)

That's a real explosion... the Maids instructed not to look back during the pyrotechnics, on an otherwise freezing cold night. There is a "making of video" for the MV.

Explosions and car chases are handled by a famous team in Japan. The lyrics are mainly written by Miku (vocals and guitar) and the music is composed by Kanami (lead guitar). The reason why the composition credit goes to BAND-MAID is because the band arrangements in the process of creating their songs are crazy. It sounds like there are multiple vocal lines, and I especially like Akane's (drums) line.
This is a great song
WARNING is a killer song. You will like more and more each time you listen to it. The combined vocals of SAIKI and KOBATO are fascinating.
For more hard rocking BAND-MAID, try also BLOOMING, RINNE, SENSE, (all OMV) and I’LL (audio only). And the recent live versions of DON’T YOU TELL ME, from Yokohama Arena, and PUZZLE, from Tokyo Garden Theatre.

They have real trouble with the weather. The Non-Fiction Days, Warning! and Shambles MVs were are all filmed when it was freezing. (Shambles is indoors but it is an old drafty unheated building and the flames in that MV are also real). Misa sent her bass back to its maker afterwords for some maintenance because of the rain and snow in Warning. The Influencer MV, on the other hand, was recorded when it was close to 100 degrees.

Other songs in this high tempo non stop vein are I can't live without you, screaming, hibana, and different. Only different has a MV. The others are audio only on their channel. I can't live without you is probably the most similar sound wise. While it isn't quite as high tempo, Moratorium Live is a great old school metal style track with a twist. Possibly my favorite BM song

If you like this version of Band-Maid, After life, H-G-K, Youth, Giovanni, Sense, No God, Honkai, Why Why Why, Unleash, Influencer (maybe) would be your cup of tea. Personally Sayonakidori and Corallium are more creative abs fun but maybe not everyone's cup of tea. You can check these out if you are curious. Different is also right in your alley I think. Definitely check out entire Unseen World catalogue. Unseen world album appealled to many metal fans.

Ahhhhh .... I think you will like Lovebites "Dancing with the Devil". The text is written by Midori and it is so sick. Its about control. A hot and beautiful girl's total control of a man she is not all that much interested in. Its very sassy almost bluesy. Not like Lovebites at all. But it is so good! I would say it is a contender for the best for me. This one really show off Asami. Show her roots!

My favorite song upon release until FROM NOW ON was released. Still a top 5 song for me. This song looses a bit of energy Live but still great. In the "making of" video the Maids were happy with the warmth of the flames as it was cold and damp during the shoot. They don't really have anything else this daring but check out INFLUENCER unless you're afraid of heights. They did ride the roller coaster at their American Dream show in NJ in Oct 2022 but that was after the concert. Peace. 2.75

You have your japanese female bands mixed, the lead guitarist for this band is not a classically trained pianist. the guitarist, Miyako, from the band lovebites is the classically trained pianist. you need to check her out on her 1st instrument. Swan song is a good representation of her skills on piano and is a small sample of her abilities on the keys.

Yup it was a real explosion- apparently it was freezing when filming and that was the only time they were warm all day lol.
They are probably further in front of it that it looks tho due to camera forshortening the view- and it'll only be a flame explosion- so as long as it going the direction its designed to its not dangerous like a real explosion.

Hear that guitar intro? it was around July 5, 2019 when the ladies uploaded sample video with just the intro riff, no vocals and they asked "What do you think?" I wrote something like "Sounds like some James Bond (007) background music to some crazy car chase scene. " The video was made private but I wonder if my comment influenced their video idea.

It's been speculated that this song was a subtle FU to their old management and previous label. The lyrics mostly speak of not being held back and is a warning to the world that they're going to make their mark.
If that's true, then that makes the song even better

"HELL YOU CALL A DREAM" LIVE AT THE PEPSI CENTER CDMX.. it's 3 sister's from Mexico..all 3 sing (in English) this band will take your heart and Rock your soul blow your mind They started in their basement when they were children..Now they are melting stages everywhere. you can thank me later.🤯💥🤘🎶✌️
